Since 'Ohana has been closed this week, that takes a lot of breakfast and dinner seats out of play each day at the Poly. Have there been any reports on what this is doing to things at Kona?

Tomorrow morning is the last meal closure for 'Ohana, but that's also the morning we have our arrival breakfast booked at Kona. (After 20 years, finally going to try Tonga Toast!!) Just wondering what things may be like - normally Kona is pretty mellow in the mornings, but that might not be the case right now.

Thanks for any input on this one.

You can get Tonga Toast at their CS restaurant, too, if the restaurant is too busy for you. :)

I have no idea about the how crowded it will be, but I will say that the Tonga Toast is totally worth it. I had wanted to try it for awhile but was just never able to work it into our schedule. This past trip we stayed at the Poly and DD and I went up there for breakfast two mornings as walk ups. It was fantastic and probably the best breakfast I've had at Disney.

The food was great, the service was great and it was fairly quick which we thought was nice. Not rushed though, we never felt rushed.

We're staying at BLT on our next trip and I'm hoping I can talk DD into getting up at least one morning with me and going over there for breakfast.

Kona was really really slow today even with O'hana's being closed. Lilo and Stitch were hanging around though and having a great time!!

yup, I was there this morning, and it was all but empty! (There from about 9:45 to 11:30, maybe I saw you and didn't know it.)

'Ohana reopened tonight after just a few days down. They have been redoing the floor this week, so nothing related to the food.

If you are really just looking to have Tonga Toast, you can get that in the Poly's CS too, Capt. Cooks.

Tonga Toast =
