We wanted to rent a luxury sedan, which says Cadlilac or similar. Has anyone rented one? Is it really a Cadillac?

We never rent a car but our kids really want to see Seaworld this trip. I don't want to rent a minivan or SUV--too much car, but the fullsize isn't really big enough for the 5 of us with our luggage.

How do you get your luggage to the rental car anyway? Can you take those carts with you to the car rental area??

Can only answer the last part of your question but yes - if you are renting a car from an agency with a counter in the airport and its cars in the adjacent garage (National, Alamo, Budget, Dollar, Avis, L & M) you can take the luggage cart over to the garage with you.

Ill tackle first part-The answer is most likely.

The fine print says

Cadillac DTS
or similar

not sure what is similiar to a cadillac DTS but they CAN substitute and most likely have similar cars. But I dont really know- I rent intermediate Emerald Aisle.

But if there are Caddy's there they are real cadillacs- no generic Caddys. The lawsuits would be too great. (j/k - really)

Wouldnt worry though- You'll get something just as good- maybe better.

in 1/05... They share the same fleet and spot in the parking garage in MCO. We rented a luxury car and had our choice of all cars in that category (the keys are in the cars - you just choose one and drive to the gate)... Indeed, there were three Cadillac DTS in that row. We choose a lovely brand new (3 miles on the car) Cadillac SRX - their luxury SUV - and it had a 3rd row and huge sunroof! The kids loved it... We are a family of 5 as well and I am a terrible overpacker!

Have a great trip!
