Does it work??

Dan,
My brother and his wife have had one (or a device like it) for several years. They swear by it. My sis-in-law wore it after a surgery because she felt like it quelled the nausea from the drugs. My nephew has always gotten car sick and he wears it when they travel. Once again, swears that it works. I haven't tried it, but I have put it on. The "pulse" feels a little strange at first, like static electricity, I suppose, but then I forgot that I was wearing it. We may take it with us on the next trip down to see if it works. DH thinks it's all a mind game. (He's a pretty classic skeptic.) But I suppose that if your mind thinks it works, it probably will.

It starts on the plane ride to Orlando for me. I have used the patch - works well, but, got flu like symptoms and stopped wearing it. I went on line and did a search for the wristband and ended up buying one about two years ago. It was $100 but it was one on the best purchases I have made. Even with the band I have some issues with some jolting and spinning action, but, I know what those things are, and I avoid them.

There's a really good website at the Coaster Enthusiasts of Canada website about preventing motion sickness. It's a long address, but if you type "CEC Motion Sickness" in Google, it's the top one.
