What restaurants (ts,cs, buffets) are best wth little ones under 2?

Thanks!!

I like the table service style like at Liberty Tree Tavern, so you don't have to get up to the buffet to fix plates for yourself, and little ones...I am always afraid I will miss one of the characters while I am serving myself!

I second the Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's recommendations above. There are enough food choices to satisfy anyone, even a tempermental 2 year old. And the characters are fun at both spots.

Crystal Palace was great for breakfast. If you visit Epcot, Le Cellier offered our friend's children (ages two and three) free lunch. They had pasta and chicken fingers.

1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian would also be a good one. :)

It depends on the child. At that age, my DS was very easy-going and we could take him anywhere and he would be fine. He did really enjoy the Pooh characters at Crystal Palace.

I would say that, if feasible, you should find places the child would enjoy besides just the typical children's fare. Kids that age generally are not used to eating chicken fingers, hot dogs, french fries, etc all the time. Not to get too TMI on you, but DS had some intestinal issues after his first trip.

Actually, we like to take our little one to Cape May Cafe because it is a buffet. We can take a walk to pick out our food ( a great excuse for a little one to stretch their legs :yay: ).

Also, there are booths that you can request....so the little one doesn't have to sit in a high chair.

The variety of foods is great....just take a little of everything and your child can sample different foods ;) ...... and deserts!

Enjoy!

Is it character dining you're after? If not I suggest Cosmic Rays and get a table near Sonny Eclipse, the resident performer! ;)

I would definately vote for Cosmic Ray's for a CS meal. I agree w/ CM, CP, for character meals but also recommend the SCI-Fi for a non-character meal. Our DD LOVED this when she was 2.

I agree with Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's for character dining. Just about every restaurant at WDW is kid friendly.

How do you do SciFi when seated in the cars with the little ones? We have specifically not done this one with our DD because we thought it would be too difficult with a high chair. What is the setup for little ones?

Another vote for Cape May. We used to also like Garden Grill in Epcot however we haven't been since they changed the menu. Where are you staying some of the restaurants in hotels are great for little ones as well.
