With Dream Maker Package -

Do you get the luggage tags and lanyards before your trip - maybe when you pay off trip or do you get them at check in?

When we last did the package we got our luggage tags when we got your papers. We got pins, not lanyards but we had to pick them up at the resort gift shop. I seem to recall they gave us vouchers for the pins.

Thank you - I've been concerned about only getting 2 lanyards with 3 children - if they're just at a gift shop, I can pick up a third. Problem solved!

We leave in 5 days and we are doing the Dream maker package. We received our luggage tags with our hotel vochers and it said the other things we would get at check in. I hope this helps!

We received the papers with the luggage tags last week (check in aug 6) and paid off the package over a month ago. I assume we will get the lanyards and pins (vouchers?) when we check in. We will also be getting 2 lanyards, I can send you one when we get back (aug 15) if you'd like, (I sent you a pm). I also have 3 kids, but only my youngest will want one.

Glad to see someone else had this question about the pins/lanyards. We also have 3 children and wondered if anyone knew what the pins and lanyards were like so I could order or pick up a set for my 3rd child. I inquired when we booked our package about purchasing an extra set but didn't get any info. from the cm I got. I thought some people had mentioned the pins and lanyards were in the room waiting. IF anyone has further info. please post. Thanks.

The tags were sent out a few weeks before the trip. You get the lanyards at Disney. They give you a voucher and you redeem them at a gift shop. The lanyards I got last week have blue straps and Walt Disney Travel Company tags on them. There is a picture of Mickey in the middle. One pin had Chip and Dale in an airplane. The other has Minnie in an airplane. I don't know if they are always the same. The pins and lanyards came in the same package.

Did you notice if what you received was available for purchase? Can you buy the same package or is it only part of the package. Just wondered because I would really like to have the same thing for all 3 kids if possible.

I'm thinking dd and I will want more customized lanyards - can you purchase lanyards at disney (I know its too late for me to acquire the lime green dis ones....) I know ds has a college lanyard, Claires has an "angel" lanyard...

no I'm not "obsessed" (please do not ask my dh for his opinion!)

They don't have the Dream Maker lanyards for sale. WDW has many other style lanyards to choose from though. I know it's difficult when all of the kids don't have the same style of things though. I'd offer up one of mine, but I gave them away to my boyfriend's nephews.

Thanks for the info. I'll just have to figure out who gets to pick out their own and which 2 get the matching package ones. I'm sure it will be fine, I just wish they would let you purchase extras for the number of kids in your package.

Being one of four kids, we always got the same "things" but in different colors or styles so there was never any confusion as to whose was whose. Mom and dad avoided fighting by layiing out our choices and making us pick which one we wanted.

I usually do try to do different colors for them, but since 2 are going to be the same, I didn't want to the fight over who got to pick their own. After all, it IS the happiest place on earth!
