Women bring their sons into the women's public restroom all the time but that is a bit different with the private stalls. However, my DH is a SAHD with 2 little girls. He obviously can not enter the women's room with them and they are much too young to go by themselves, the youngest being 2.

I haven't read anyone else's replies to this yet...but here's my opinion: If I was at the mall or some other public place, and I saw a man with 2 young girls heading towards the restrooms and if he looked unsure as to what to do, I would tell him to go ahead and take his little girls into the ladies' room. I don't know if anyone else will agree with this, but I think until ALL public areas have the "family restroom", people should be lenient when they see mom's with little boys, and dads with little girls. JMHO.
