With a certain number of visits to the water park?

I'm looking into going back to WDW by 2027. I've priced some packages just to get a ballpark figure of what I'll be spending, though I know prices change all the time. We'll be getting the park hoppers that include the waterparks, but I noticed on the WDW website it states the park hopper includes "a certain number of days at the waterparks." What exactly do they mean? For example, if I get a 9 day park hopper, don't I have the option of going to one or both of the waterparks on all those days? I won't be going every day,but I'm curious. When we went in 2017, we went to the water parks but we're never told it only included a certain number of visits. If it matters, both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach were open when I went.

Since the post-Covid reopening, only one water park has been open at a time. I believe (and someone can correct me if I'm wrong) that the WP&S option entitles you to x (in your case 9 if you're getting the 9-day ticket) entrances to the things that the WP&S ticket covers.

So you'd get 9 entitlements to use across the following things: water parks, WWoS, Golf trails, & mini golf.

If you purchase a 9 day PH with the Park Hopper Plus Option, you get 9 days in the parks and 9 days of 1 of several options listed per day below.

1. Walt Disney World water park (either Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park or Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park—whichever is open)
2. ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex
3. Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course
4. FootGolf at Disney's Oak Trail
5. Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course (one round; prior to 4:00 PM)
6. Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course (one round; prior to 4:00 PM)

Note: Only 1 of the 6 listed options per day up to 9 days in your example.

When we went in 2017, we went to the water parks but we're never told it only included a certain number of visits. If it matters, both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach were open when I went.

Both parks are no longer open at the same time. It is currently BB and will switch to TL on May 1st, 2025 (may be different in 2027)

It’s 9 additional entries to that list. It’s not necessarily 1 per day unless the guest chooses to use it that way; multiple “plus” entries may be used on the same day. For example go to a waterpark and play mini-golf one day will use 2 plus options.

The number of plus options is equal to the number of days for theme park admission, but are completely separate from the main theme park entries.
