Wishes WEdding ** need to stay around the $15k mark... any tips??

Quick question about saving money with the buffets. How do you guys figure out the prices. For example...the sample menu they sent me it seemed that the buffet's cost a lil more than if i just did plated entree's ala carte. I'm just trying to get an idea how much food will be but it seems like maybe i'm miscalculating something.

Our final BEO for our Wishes wedding is $15168. We are doing a morning wedding at Sea Breeze with a reception at Living Seas. We have minimal floral at the ceremony and all we have at the reception is the centerpieces. Not having a lot of decoration saved us a lot. We did the least expensive buffet and we have no liquor. Since our reception is from 11am - 2pm we figured no liquor is ok. Our big budget buster for going over the minimum is Photography. We are using Disney and we're doing an Epcot photo shoot. And we're buying the high res disc immediately. So that cost us about $4000. We don't have any of the Disney extras - characters, coach, any of that. If you keep it simple you can definitely stay around $15k.

You have to have your planner price out what you want, unfortunately—there's no a la carte list of prices for each dish (although some of the action stations are priced in the various menus floating around).

Speaking of buffets, can anyone have a reception at Ohanas? I've seen a daughter give her parents a vow renewal there from that Disney Weddings video, but how about a wedding reception?

Also if you get an outside photographer, they can't be in the parks correct? Only outside places like Disney Resorts?
