Wishes was great during out recent trip - we saw it from the area just south of Peter Pan/ITASW etc. It was great looking left and right constantly at the display - there are probably better places in terms of seeing it all but being right under it all was great (and LOUD too)

thanks

Thanks for the info. I'm going in less than 2 weeks, and I'd rather see it back there where I'd think it would be much less crowded. However, I'm north-south challenged. When you say "south" of Peter Pan, is that towards CHH and HM, or would that be towards Dumbo and the Carousel? I'm really glad to hear from someone who was in the Fantasyland area. That was our "traditional" FITS spot.

There are probably many many places that people enjoy great views from. We found ours by chance. Heading towards the castle from main street and just before the bridge that goes to the castle hub there is a cafe/restaurant on the right hand side with tables on the patio. Below here is another patio with tables that is a smoking area. Well this area is reserved for VIP's or guests who I think pay extra to be there. From here looking towards the castle you will see a pathway that leads from the bridge to tommorowland. Along this pathway about four lamp posts to the right is a prime viewing spot. No trees, bushes or buildings in the way and you will see every explosion with the castle as the backdrop. You are also away from the massive hordes at the castle hub and main street. I think being in front of the castle is a bit too close myself. Check it out yourself well before the fireworks start and see what you think.

To seeing Wishes on our December trip thanks to poster's for viewing tips.::yes:: :wave2:

Just wanted to add that I have a friend who just got back. She said the bridge to Tomorrowland was an excellent place to watch from! They saw it from there and from Fantasyland (around Dumbo) and said the bridge was great!:earsgirl:

The question? COuld I be any more excited!

My trip is on Saturday... I can't believe it, finally less than a week! I'm not really going to spend Saturday in the park ... I know that with it being the weekend after Thanksgiving, it will be a zoo. But that's ok, I'm still going to head over to MK to see Wishes that night. Cause I can't wait another minute to see it! LOL Oh, I'm getting giddy. Deep breaths, deep breaths.

Simba's Mom, towards Dumbo and the Carroseul.....

The other post about from tomorrowland is a good view as well

We found Fantasyland worked well, by the time we slowly walked out of there enjoying the sites and then through tomorrowland and through the Plaza restaurant counter service area and onto Main Street, a lot of people had left already which made for a leisurely exit

thanks
