A friend of mine who has two special needs daughters with various problems told me that my youngest, Kenley, now qualifies for Disney wishes. I don't really think she does, and I don't think her daughters do either, but it's not something I've ever looked into. Can anyone provide me with some links for more info? My friend I think is sort of now thinking that her girls will someday hav a wish trip.

The national Make a Wish website is:

http://www.wish.org

And you can find the qualifications there.
At one point, Make a Wish trips were only for children with terminal illnesses. As the treatments improved for many of these conditions, specifically childhood cancers, more children survived and less conditions were terminal.

The current requirements are for a child to have a 'life threatening condition'. Exactly what that means is largely up to the doctor who certifies the child's condition for Make a Wish.

Thanks! I'm not sure who told her, but I don't think any of them qualify. Rumors abound when it comes to Disney.
