Back in 2000 when we attended MVMCP we stood in the Liberty Square area for the parade and fireworks and at the end of the fireworks it was like we were surrounded by them. Is this different now that it is the Wishes show? What would be the best place to stand...does it need to be Main Street?

The best place to be is facing the castle. There are images shown on the castle during the show plus there are fireworks shot off on both sides of the castle at ground level.

Facing the front or the back of the castle or does it matter????

Facing the front of the castle. I believe they block off part of Fantasyland during the show since some of the fireworks are shot off from there.

Yes, you are correct. I was actually there last night. They block off from Snow White across to Mickey's Philharmonic. The Carousel is completly shut down. No one is allowed near the castle.:earsgirl: :earsboy:

I had a chance to work an Audience Control shift in this location. It's an interesting vantage point to watch the fireworks from, but, that being said, it's not the best place that you can see the fireworks.

My personal favorite spot to view from is the Tomorrowland Bridge, but I'm sure there are other great locations.
