It is actually a great spot for Wishes, but for the light show your view is going to be more of the side of the castle so if you are worried about that then I would move over a little for a better view. We sat at Sleepy Hollow during the Frozen Wish at MVMCP and it was nice being able to sit and watch. We didn't get the full front view of the characters but just seeing the castle light up was good enough for us. The hub was just too crazy to get a spot.
It started at 7pm and we got a seat a little before, maybe 6:30.Thanks! That's good to know. How early did you have to get there to grab a seat?
At the risk of sounding stupid (many visits to WDW)……where is sleepy hollow? I saw someone post about it earlier relating to food and I have no idea where it is.
It is actually a great spot for Wishes...
I've never watched Wishes from anywhere but smack in the middle of Main St.
1. But from the map, it looks like views from the little table outside Sleepy Hollow are looking directly at the castle, albeit from the side.
2. No?
3. Are there trees blocking the sky
4. that I'm not seeing on the map?
5. This is the first year we're not using a stroller so I'm plotting as many ways as possible to get my kids to sit down and take what will be a much-needed break!
Yes I watched Wishes from there. I have watched Wishes from further in the park like Tomorrowland and Fantasyland and even those were good spots. Sleepy Hollow isn't too bad for fireworks, you are just off to the side. Are you sure you mean "Wishes..." the MK fireworks show?
I'd rate Sleepy Hollow for Wishes viewing as a 1-2 out of 10.
All of the grand and glorious "main" fireworks would be blocked from your view by, well, everything in that area.
I do not remember any tree blocking our view at all from there. We were sitting at the table right on the edge. Just watching from the Liberty Square/Frontierland "border" (for lack of a better word) is actually an OK viewing area. We watched from there one night purely by accident and I really enjoyed it. This probably won't make much sense, but watching from a different than intended angle (i.e., looking at the castle on Main Street) really shows you how big the fireworks really are. I really appreciated the panoramic view we got from Frontierland.
