Wishes from Fantasyland?

We have seen wishes from the front, to the right of the castle but wondered how it is from the backside of the castle?

We love to wait until the crowds leave and just walk around after wishes and talk with the CM's or just people watch.

I can't wait to go back to Disney!

We saw it from there a couple of years ago and it was awful. The fireworks are almost directly over your head so you have to tip your head completely back and it is very uncomfortable to do for any length of time.

Yeah, we watched holiday wishes from right near Snow white at the ropes (they rope off the castle), and it was a horrible view. There was no story told with the fireworks from that angle, and the mid-height ones were right over your head, the really low ones were practically impossible to see (they are shot in front of the castle), and the high ones were back behind Ariel's grotto. Always looking in 3 directions - I'd rather face crowds than watch from that view again.

I watched "Wishes" from Fantasyland on my last trip, and I thought it was so cool! The fireworks were real loud (if anyone in your party's scared of loud noises, this isn't the place to be). There are very few people back there, just a few of us sitting around, some eating ice cream, and a fireworks specialist type of person who kept running around talking on her walkie-talkie. I guess she was making sure none of the debris landed back there. I even got to watch the beginning of it from Dumbo-they let me stay on it 3 times in a row, because no one was waiting, until after "Wishes" started. Then they stopped the ride. After "Wishes", I walked over to Frontierland and sat in a rocking chair, talking to the CMs for a while, til the park cleared out. It wasn't the best viewing of "Wishes", but I really enjoyed it.

I was in front of the castle toward main street and got a good view.
