For anyone who has stayed at the Poly....how is the view of the fireworks from the beach?

Completely AWESOM :earseek: :teeth: :teeth:  Stake out some lounge chairs and just have a great time! If it's cool, bring a blanket. It really is a wonderful sight. You will love it

It's one of the best reasons to stay at the Poly. The view from the beach is wonderful. It's such a special moment. Enjoy!

Fantastic, but make sure you go eat at the CG at the contemporary, the fireworks are awesome from the rooftop there, plus they pipe in the music.

That's where we always watch the fireworks. It's so relaxing to sit on the beach and watch the sky light up!

AWESOME!! We go to what they call "The Point" . It's the little pathway that leads to a grassy area. We always sit right there on the grass and watch the fireworks. When we were there last April we could even hear the music from the fireworks. It was a moment I will never forget as long as I live!!!

Perfect....also consider taking a water taxi at the time they start and watch from inside the boat out in the lagoon.

ps...don't forget the Electric Water Parade around 9pm!

I would love so see some photos of fireworks from the Poly beach, if anyone has any? :cheer2:

If the fireworks are at 9, what time is the EWP? Also 9?

We usually go in March and the EWP started around 9; Wishes ran after that (gives it time to become darker I guess). I'm pretty sure the EWP comes first though.

Here you go. I forget if this was from MNSSHP or Wishes, but it gives you the idea. We were VERY impressed by the view. The Castle is the little purplish blur. It was much more visible than the photo shows. It's a wide-angle shot, so it makes the Castle look smaller.

PamWynn, I am trying to figure out where "the point" is that you described at the polynesian. Can you give me more details on how you reached this grassy area? thanks, Carolyn :flower:

There is a little walkway right in front of building Tokelau and it leads kind of to the edge of the Lagoon!! But like the other dis'er said, the castle really does look bigger in real like than in those pictures. Those pictures were wonderful though!!!!
