Wishes fireworks cruise with full-on private dining

Has anyone done the Wishes fireworks cruise complete with private dining for a full meal (not just cake or strawberries)? How was your experience and, if you don't mind sharing, what was the approximate cost. Trying to decide between surprising my husband for his birthday with a private dining experience on the balcony at Grand Floridian vs a private fireworks cruise complete with a full dinner vs dinner at Cali Grill followed by the fireworks cruise. Thanks to everyone!!

We have done private dining on the balcony at the Grand Floridian twice and really enjoyed it.

I'd be interested to hear about it as well. All my MK time for my upcoming trip is likely to be mornings so I'd like a nice, romantic fireworks viewing opportunity for evening.

I wish they piped in the Wishes music. There are trees, you can not see the castle. There is usually a movie playing down at the pool so you can hear it. Tangled was on one of the times we were there so we could hear that playing.

You can see the Electrical Water Pageant and if Wishes fireworks are late enough you can see some of the high fireworks from Illuminations in the direction of the Polynesian.

Okay, I just got off the phone with GF and booked the private dining experience. I already cannot say enough about the cast member. She was extremely helpful and I am so excited!!
