How does this make sense for the Wishes Dessert Party?

Im trying to switch from one night for 4 to another night for 5. The night I am trying to switch to has 4 available but no 5. So I thought okay I will do two parties- one with 3 and one with 2.

They don't have anything available for 2, only available for 3 or 4. Wouldn't a table be able to fit 2 or 3 regardless or do they only book so many 2 tops and so many 3 tops? Is there tables there that just seat 2 and those book up more quickly?

That just boggles my mind. Anyone know why this is?

At a guess you are running into fire code issues which limit how many people can be in the space. It doesn't matter how you divide your group - you are one over the legal limit on the space so unless someone cancels you are out of luck for the fifth person. Hope it works out.

Ok, I'm sorry that I can't answer your question as I've never done it, but I would like to ask you a question. :) We're staying at POP for the first time this year, and I'm worried about how it will be. We've only stayed at CSR before, so I'm just not sure what to expect. I see you've stayed there several times. Can you reassure me that it's a good place to stay?

No problem! =) Ive never stayed at a Moderate Resort so I am not sure what to compare it to but I really like Pop. Its home to me. For a savings of like an extra $100 or more a night its really nice. It is really clean, the food court is really nice- there is a very nice variety of food. When you are barely at your hotel room It is good.

People complain about the bus system but I have never found it bad. In fact, i had to wait longer to get to a park when we went to a deluxe resort for breakfast. The only time it gets bad is at closing time, but I think thats the same everywhere. The spacing between rooms from the main area is not too far. I think it is much further at moderates and deluxes. That is nice if you just want to grab a drink from the food court. If you get a refurbished room which you probabaly will, those are nice. Pop Century would be the only value I would ever stay at. I would never stay at All Stars. Pop Century is stil new and you can definitely tell. Yeah the rooms are small but you don't need a big room when your at the parks all the time. They are just like any typical Holiday Inn hotel room. I think you will have a fun time.

Its not romantic or anytime which I see is your honeymoon so that might be a problem but you could make it romantic. The pools are nice and big. I haven't found any problems with too many kids that make it overbearing.

I have absolutely no complaints!! If you have any other questions let me know.

Thanks for your response. Thats what I am confused about though, because I am wondering if they book on available tables and not people? Because if I booked a 4 top and 3 top(both available) thats 7 and two tables. But a 5 top is only one big table, so maybe they run out of tables. I guess I wouldn't really know unless I tried booking a 4 and then a 3 right after to see if it would let me. I wish they told you how many spots are left!

I would try calling to make the ressie. A CM may be able to do more than the computer.

Ok so I thought about your question and did come up with a negative. The beds are only full (at least I am almost positive). I think the beds are queen at Moderates. Im sure you are planning on sleeping in the same bed so if you didn't get a king size bed maybe try to ask for one. We don't ask for one so my boyfriend and I sleep in different beds because we are used to a queen at home and those full beds are just so small.

Thanks so much for all the info! I agree that the biggest negative is that they won't guarantee a king bed. I'm not the one trying to be cheap for our honeymoon, so I have tried telling FH that we may have to sleep like Lucy & Ricky and I'll think about inviting him over if I feel like it. lol We are just sooo stinking wedding poor right now. If our honeymoon registry yields big results we may upgrade, but for now we're choosing to put extra money towards an upgraded dining plan.

I think I'm just being a hotel snob. I loved CSR, but we were barely even there so it just seems like a waste. I'm sure it'll be great. It's just the what ifs that probably don't even matter. Oh, and the bus service for CSR was total crap, so I don't think we could get any worse. We waited for nearly an hour to get home one night. We watched all of the value resort buses constantly coming and going while we never got one. We actually said then that maybe we should go value next time.

King beds at Pop are often in accessible rooms with the walk-in shower, just so you'd know if you ended up getting a room like this.

FYI...I did call and I had to book it in two separate parties- a party of 3 and another party of 3. For some reason they only had three available not two. But once she booked the 3 she was able to go in and change it to two people so I will get refunded for the other person.

Otherwise we were going to have to ask a random person to eat dessert with us!!;)
