We've had to change our dates to the end of next year....so will be back this time next year to watch again! ::yes:: Great thread, Sheila!:thumbsup2

Oh Christine I am so sorry to read that you are changeing your dates. :worried:

This is my first time doing this (obviously). Wishes is at 10, the party starts at 9. Do we line up at 8? Do I need a "ticket" or something that I need to get from Guest Services at the park or my resort? Or do I just need my name and confirmation number?

And.... the night we reserved is also an EMH night at MK. We plan to head over to Tomorrowland after the party. I have heard they usher people out through the walkway through the restaurant after the show. Should we plan to just wait there for a half hour then head over, or will we be able to get through the crowds to Tomorrowland?

There is no need to line up. All tables are pre-assigned. If your reservation is at 9:00, you can show up at 9:00. There may be a small line when you get there if that's the first time that night, but you won't wait long :) There are no "tickets." You just need your ADR number/name just like with a restaurant ADR. You DO have to have park access that day, the payment for the party doesn't allow you access into the park :thumbsup2

The only time we've ever been ushered out of the party a certain way was on July 3 when it was a madhouse! Normally they allow you to hang out, nibble/drink a little more as they're cleaning up, etc... Tomorrowland will be EASY to get to from the DP. No worries there :)

Aw, thank you. BUT maybe next year you'll want to go back a little later for the full holiday effect....so, perhaps our dates will actually overlap then! :goodvibes

I prefer to avoid the first weekend in December when the Christmas Parade is filmed at MK. Having said that, next year the 1st weekend of December is later - the first Saturday is the 7th! :thumbsup2

I am thinking of going for F & W and MNSSHP next year. I am excited to go during the filming but not so sure Bob will be :rotfl: Did some research and think we may go over that Friday when they film the stage shows instead if Sat when they film the Main St part.

We use to always go to the Easter Parade For the LIVE telecast and wait 2 hours in our spot. One year Jason was so thrilled since he got to talk to Regis Philiben unfortunately the video tape is lost

I just love what does not appeal to some, is just what another enjoys!

What fun that Jason was thrilled to meet Regis...but how awful the tape is lost. Was it a family video? Maybe it will turn up...so many memories...so sweet, yet so sad.

One of my favorite hard tkt events ever was MSSCHP - have only been once, but would love to go again. I know Rosie really wants to go for the holiday decorations and I don't mind at all.

If DD really moves to FL, then I will be a resident and can go over for a couple of days when friends come down and enjoy different times of the year then. :thumbsup2

Me three!!! Can't wait! I think I check everyday and I know the one day I don't check, it's going to open...I almost had a heart attack when I saw July open!

I've been checking every day, twice a day, morning and afternoon. I'll post ASAP when I see August open.

I noticed dates open in Sept. & Oct. My window opened this morning for mid-Nov., but no Dessert Party dates posted for Nov. Dear Disney, if you tell me I can book 180 days out, please have the availability posted online! I don't set my alarm for 5:45am because it's fun. :(

Wow- already! I am trying for Nov 18. Can't wait!!

I think I am doing something wrong, when I put in any date, it says nothing available. Is it that much of a "hot ticket"? :goodvibes

reservations are only open until July right now. See the first post in this thread for when months have opened - they don't follow the normal 180 day rule. It 'appears' that dates are open but if you go to make a reservation beyond July you won't get anything. :)

The months seem to be opening up about 3 months prior (end of April we got July; End of May we'll get August)

I asked a ways back but didn't hear anything - are Wishes reservations best made online or on the phone? And what time of day do they open?

Thanks!
