Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread #3-book @ 180 Days Now!

Eek! So it doesn't release with all of the other ADRS at the 180 day mark in the morning? That stinks! I was planning to wake up super early to get my ADRS on the 180 day mark and the dessert party would be toward the end of my trip so the 180+10 would have worked in my favor. I unfortunately can't check all during the day because I'm at work I really want to do this! The one party we went to was great, and this one would be even better because of the insane crowds.

Yes, this years July 3 & 4 weren't released at the the 180 day mark. It was a few days later. It was very frustrating. I must have checked the site about 50 times a day to get the reservation along with the disboards! Thanks to the disboards I was informed of when the date finally opened up! There was several of us looking for those 2 dates and they opened up at the same time. I think because those are special fireworks and the time is different from the regular Wishes that that is partly why they were delayed in releasing those days to book the Dessert Party!

Forgot to add...if you want to check the posts back on page 99-103 there is the discussion on when July 3 & 4 were released for this year. But hopefully for you it will be at the 180 day mark! Good luck!

Yes keep looking. The cancelation time on these is 5 days in advance so you might want to check several times a day around that time.

Yes it cost extra!

I splurged since we have the free dining package...It is so worth it and a nice surprise for my Cousin and my DD Sweet 16 celebration!! We are booked for Nov 2nd.

Cost me $120 for the 4 of us....

Thank you - I love success stories! I've read maybe 150 pages of this thread and see that people do find openings, which gives me a little hope lol. I just know it is very limited seating, so the ADRs are a little scarcer than others. I'll keep checking, and keep my fingers crossed!

Anyone have any idea why the reservation times for April are showing 6pm when Wishes isn't until 9? I called and got a CM who didn't seem to know much, she said you have to pick up tickets at 6 and come back at 9? Doesn't seem right, when would you eat your desserts? Normally you show up an hour before Wishes starts? Thanks!

I was told that they are beginning to make the reservation time at 6:00 the standard. You still won't show up until an hour before fireworks. My CM told me that this was to eliminate confusion when fireworks hours change. Such as the park hours extending to 10 when everyone's reservations say 9:00. She stressed to ensure to ask a CM day of as to when fireworks would be and show up an hour before.

Well..get this, guess I'm going to have to call.....it won't let me book the Wishes party for them because they have dinner at BOG at 6:10!

Frustration has set in!
