The horrible thing is, I am going on the Disney Magic on May 12th and I still haven't reached my 10th post (although most has been done through Facebook). I have been a lurker here for quite a while... I even lurked last year at this time... Maybe if I stop lurking I will get lucky and get a reservation this time lol...

I just booked the party for 4 people for NEXT MONDAY NIGHT!!!! I cannot believe how lucky I just got with the online system! Yay for pixie dust!!

Thank you! I was reading a post on that thread where someone who knows a Disney Travel Agent asked her about the possibility of Sept FD. The agent got back to her that they definitely are expecting FD to be offered for Sept and the agent is wondering if it might be released next Mon bc she noticed she was put on the schedule to do overtime all next week! So that was encouraging to read!

I am in the same boat. According to the site below Disney has historical had free dining offers that cover all of Sept. since 2009. The CM's I have spoke to will not confirm but say there is a good chance Sept. should be covered again. Hope they are right!

I didn't use to do this craziness either. I used to just wing it. We have gone so often now that it is time to have new experiences and not just do the rides. My older daughter laughs at me and I told her you have no idea what goes into these vacations and especially to get these reservations. By the way I am hoping for POR w/FD. I am going 9/12-9/20 when will you be there.?

We will be there 9/6 - 9/15
We feel the same about making the trips "different" bc we've been there so much now. For example, we booked about 80% ADRs at places new to us. It was tough breaking away from some of our old favs, but I don't want to have all these vacations run together bc they are all so similar.

That is our problem too. No one wants to go somewhere else. There is a thread on here about going for the golden spoon. I was shocked to see I have only been to 30% off the restaurants. I insisted on trying several new restaurants.

I never heard about the golden spoon (or stumbled across the thread). I already looked at it, but still am restricted because of my low post count... Once I get UNrestricted, I am definitely doing it!

I think you need 10.....but there is a thread on, I think it's Welcome to DIS, that you can "chat" so that you build up your 10 count.

I did notice that on the Dessert Party Page it gives the time option as 7pm. We've been twice, and I think the party was at 9 or 10 on those nights. Anyone know if the 7pm part is right?

I can tell you a CM confirmed Wishes starts at 10 on September 10. That means the dessert party would start at 9. The party starts an hour before Wished is scheduled to begin.

I noticed one day Wishes starting at 8:15... Maybe it's like that for the day youre trying? I only have an 8:00pm option when I check for the days I wanted. Wishes is at 9:00 those nights.

No party and no free dining yet. I was told that they now know the dates for the MNSSHP but could not disclose it.

Yes, 10 is what you need. So, I am close just need a couple more and then I am good. I really need to get more active on the forums! I think it would make me want to go more. I already get called Minnie Mouse at work and go quite a bit. Not sure I could afford to go more often haha. Sometimes I wish I lived in Florida!
