Yay, just booked 10/26! DH said not to do it, but I did it anyway, just in case we change our minds when FD (hopefully) is released in 2 days (rees up some extra $$)!!!

How do you tell if you got front row, or is it basically 1st come 1st serve?

Rumor has it that the rows are filled as your reservation is received (in other words, earlier you book better chance of getting front row). Will be interesting to see if this holds true when I go in October.

Ah, good to know! That makes sense. I'm thinking it will fill up fast. I counted a few 10/26 posts before I saw thread later in the afternoon, and that's just on the Dis! DH had me hem-hawing for a few minutes too. We got an 8:05 though, yay! Thanks!

I booked 8:15pm for October 7th for 4. Is that too late to get a good table? I booked it this afternoon. Is drinks included?

You guys should have seen me today! I happened to check the thread at work and my eyes bugged out when I saw the thread title change! I had to run a half mile.. Literally.. To my car to get my credit card! Booked Oct 12!! Happy doesn't describe it!

So excited!! IPO made our reservation before I even knew the party was open! We are going on Oct. 28. All reservations are officially done!! Woohoo!

Booked 10/13! I tried online and it told me no availability. Tried a second time and it let me book but after I entered my CC info I had a server error. I ended up calling and the CM told me there was no availability for Oct! What? When I hung up I tried online again and got it! Talk about stressing out.

Hi everyone, I checked this morning and October was not open. Just tried again on-line and got a reservation for 5 on October 23rd for 8pm. We are so excited, this is always a highlight of our Disney vacation. Thanks to everyone that posted all the great information.

When I booked online at 1:30, I had to pick from 8 or 8:15 which I thought was odd since it's all one party. I wonder if they are now staggering the start times based on where you sit?

I used to think so, but I booked my 10/28 as soon as the reservations opened and got an 8:15. Checked a few hours later for someone else and it gave me an 8:05. I think they just try to stagger when people are going to show up????

How many people did you try to book. I just looked at October 1st and checked for party of 2 and 4 people and it is still open.

Remember that "good table" is subjective - they let everyone in at the same time and a CM takes you to your table, which has your name on it so that you can go back and forth for desserts without someone taking your table. Then when Wishes is about to begin everyone gets up and stands at the railings, so how "good" your table is doesn't really matter.

Edited: I can get a party of 3, but not a party of 2??? That's just stupid.

Did you call or just look online? Last time I booked in May, there was nothing online so I called and there was lots of availability. THEN they had no availability for parties of one or two, so I booked for four, hung up and called back, and cancelled three of the guests so I got my booking
