Awesome, congratulations!! Do you by chance know if the party is still showing availability for Dec. 23rd or 28th? My 180 doesn't start until tomorrow. Thanks!

December 23rd still has availability.
I cant check December 28th availability online as it is past my check out date.

So excited that we were able to get this for Christmas night! We had this scheduled for NYE last year, but we had to cancel our trip due to an unexpected surgery. Looking forward to doing this for the first time!

just called up and was able to book December 31 NYE!!! it has a start time of 6:30 but agent said that will be changed. ellen

Mine says that also. Made me so nervous I called back and checked to make sure they booked the right one. They assured me it is and said its a system error that they are all showing up that way.

good to know on the time thing, had the same question! Hopefully those trying got the 23rd, I thought I had it this morning but then it didn't go through and I was distracted by all the other ressies, by the time I got back ended up with the 26th. Can't see the 28th either as it is past our dates.

Try for the 23rd again! I'm still seeing a 6:15pm available. I was able to book it this morning. Sooo relieved!!! Good luck!

I just got the party for 6:30 on 12/30 as well - They charged me extra and the CM thought it was for the later NYE fireworks but the reservation is at 6:30?

Anyone have any further info?

The price has always fluctuated, more expensive during the busiest times. If you check, you will find that Character Meals & All a You Can Eat meals follow suit.

It's usually noted on the Dining reservation page for the venue/restaurant

Correct. Book what ever time is available. Then what Cm's are telling everyone one is to check when wishes is scheduled on your party night and then be there 30 minutes before the show starts.

I booked the dessert party for Dec. 8 at 6 PM. When I inquired with dining the CM told me the party is at 6, Wishes at 10. She told me after the dessert party we continue our MK activities and return 30 min. before Wishes, 9:30 PM. I told her in the past we were enjoying the desserts during Wishes. She said this year it wouldn't be like that. I called again today and was told that on Dec. 8 we need to check with the venue to find out what time they would be having the party. I told her that if the desserts are served at 6 PM I don't want to attend the party. She said the only way to find out the correct time was to check on the day of the event! This just doesn't make sense to me.

What are chances of them charging you for NYE fireworks on the 30th of December, Last I checked NYE is the 31st.

Just so I am sure I understand, we cannot book WISHES until we are in our 180 day window?? I have a NYE arrival and am really hoping to get this ressie, but now don't think it's going to happen

I researched for 2014 dates right before I posted... all I could find was 2013 information.

Everything else said 2014 info not yet released. The latest article was dated May 24/14.

Dates on MDE are only open to December 23/14.

If I missed it when I googled.. I happily stand corrected

That was the information a CM told me on the phone when I called a week ago to ask when those ressies would be available, she said the NYE for 12/30&12/31 would be released later but not necessarily at the 180 day mark. But she may have given me bad info.

Hard to say if the CM info is right... you only need to read thru this thread for the past few months to see how many versions of information, or dates that change phone call to phone call, or even the difficulty in getting positive info on when parties will become book able - to see how often CMs are on totally different pages or reading from different scripts.

For those hoping to book, I hope the CM you spoke with is right. It would be a great way to bring in the new year!

Lol yes lots of different info depending on which CM you talk to. I personally would love for it to be true but if not then I apologize in advance for the misinformation.

I called and asked to book the NYE fireworks on 12/30. I was told that was what I booked and it was $50.05 per adult and $27.68 per child. When I looked it up on MDE it showed a time of 6:30pm. I called back and was assured that I had booked the Fantasy in the Sky NYE fireworks for 12/30. The CM said they had a "glitch" and that all reservations for 12/30 & 12/31 were showing up as 6:30pm regardless of which fireworks you booked, Wishes or Fantasy in the Sky. The next day I called again (to book something else) and asked the CM to check my dessert party reservation again just to make sure. I was then told that I do not have the NYE fireworks booked and that they aren't available. This CM told me I had booked the regular Wishes fireworks.
At that point, I hung up and had my husband call back because I was extremely agitated. The CM he spoke to said that the CM's had received an email on this subject which stated that all reservations for those dates were booked at 6:30pm and for us to check with our resort when we check in to find out what time to arrive. The CM said our reservation was fine because on the confirmation it clearly states NYE fireworks and that we paid for NYE fireworks, not Wishes.
I'm hoping our reservation is correct! Are people calling to book NYE fireworks on 12/30 or 12/31 and being told it isn't open yet?
