Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread #3-book @ 180 Days Now!

My ADR is 7:15pm...does that mean we will have a good spot??

Ok, I have a question: So many of you are calling to book the party, is there an advantage to calling over booking online? I know tables are assigned in the order booked, but does calling get you a preferential place in the booking queue or something?

I was actually doing both. I would try online at 6am then call at 7 just in case there was an issue booking online, and the call center was able to book through their system.

I'm confused. I just booked the dessert party for October 4th at 9:15. Here's the thing, I see people wanting and making 7 pm ressies. Does that mean that they come and go from 7pm until fireworks or stay there for three hours until fireworks at10 pm? Or just leave, not watching fireworks from the terrace? Is my 9:15 early, too late or just fine?

The dining reservation lady said this was standing room only - are there no longer tables and chairs? We will see you there on the 4th! I'll be the lady with my cheeks filled with chocolate covered strawberries and hot chocolate!!! P.S. - she said there were only 4 people booked when I called lol. Looks like it's just us for now!

Nope, I'll be there with my mother and daughter. So happy!!

The party usually starts about an hour before wishes is scheduled to start. Depending on the day you are going wishes is starting at different times for different people. That's why there is a difference in the times. Here's a link to the current October calendar if you want to look up what time wishes is on your night.

Have faith! Just last night I booked a TTDP for APRIL 25th for the four of us! Pixie dust does exist!

There are most likely 2 Wishes viewings that evening. In the summer, when the parks are busiest, there are 2 performances of Wishes which would mean 2 TTDP's offered. Hope this helps

Yes you can do it online. I booked that way today

Dh and I just booked for Oct 1st. Fireworks are at 9 pm that night and our reservation time for the party is 8 pm. Do we have to arrive at 8 or could we do 8:30 ? We'd like to see at least part of the parade 1st. Is that doable ? Neither of us will be doing a great deal of dessert, me because im trying to lose weight, and dh is a diabetic....we just wanted to make sure we had a decent viewing pt without fighting crowds

You can arrive any time between 8 and 9.

I spoke with two cast members this morning to get reservations for Oct 8th. One wouldn't even check because she said Sept hadn't gone in yet. The other checked and then had problems and couldn't add me. I got off the phone and booked it online minutes after that.

All's well that ends well, I guess.

Thanks to all who answered me about bounceback. We always stay at SoG, so I had no idea Disney did that. REALLY makes me want to stay at one of the regular resorts!

I hope so. We had a great seat last year but still ended up standing by the railing since people started congregating up there a few minutes before show time. We were right under Tink when she flew by! So fun!
