Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread #3-book @ 180 Days Now!

I'm going to ask a possibly stupid question, what's a bounceback?

Not a stupid question at all. A bounceback is a type of reward that you get for booking your next trip before you check out. We were there last September and booked a trip for this upcoming September before we checked out in order to get free dining. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you so much Kaylasmom07! I subscribe to the thread, and literally just read September's open and everything after that is a blur of running upstairs to my computer! You are AWESOME kaylasmom07!
:goodvibes I'm so happy you got it!

A bouceback is a special promotion Disney will give out if you book a return visit while you are currently staying on property. We were at WDW last year November 2013 and they were offering the free dining for dates in the Fall of 2014 if you booked before you checked out.

I've never done one so don't know the details, but what I do know (bc we got the offer the day before checkout of our '12 trip) is that when you are nearing the end of a WDW stay, with your checkout papers, they give you an paper with an offer on it. Our's was Free Dining. I don't know for sure but I think you have to book it within a certain time frame (maybe before you officially are checked out?) It is good for a certain time period... but not sure if it's 1 yr after your current stay....

OK I'm clearly not being any help here!!:hyper:
Someone who knows better pls correct me and/or fill in the blanks.....

What she said!! :joker:

Hopefully she just messed up. It'd seem really awkward to take, the seating out of this party!

I got my reservation for September 20th! I am in the same boat... About to leave work and figured I would refresh the forum... Saw that it was released and so started calling my fiance to verify the date... I was able to get it booked (of course, JUST as my manager was walking behind me... Luckily he is a pretty relaxed manager)... and barely contain the squeals of excitement! WOOT!

And to think, I would have left work and not been able to check for a couple of additional hours!!!:cool1:pixiedust::banana:

Anyone know how to tell what number in line you booked? I hear that the earlier you book the better the spot?

If anyone has reservations for July 6,7, or 8 and needs to cancel we need a reservation for 2 but haven't had any luck so far so if you could please let me know I would greatly appreciate it!!!

Wait I saw someone said that wishes starts at 10 pm in September but I booked the fireworks dessert party for 8:15? It's late sept so maybe it starts earlier then... I seem to remember it starting at 9 that time of year last year.

I was able to book for September 10. I called the dining number and got the absolute worst CM I have spoken with throughout this whole process. First she told me she had just closed all her windows so she had to open them back up again. I should have just hung up right there and then. I stayed on while she looked up my date, except she was looking at September 30, so I corrected the date and then she said it wasn't open for the 10th. She then started talking about a tea party that is for kids under 10 and we are 2 adults. So I said I wasn't trying to book the tea party I wanted the Tomorrowland Terrace Wishes Dessert Party. She says no openings, but Hollywood Brown Derby was open. While she was doing all that and my blood was starting to boil I went online and found it myself. I also let her know I found it online myself and I'll just book it. She said there must have been a cancellation. Are you kidding me???

I booked it online for September 10 at 9:00. So glad this is finally done! Congratulations to everyone who has finally been able to book this today!!

Oh man! Sorry you had to go through that! The the "Grand Finale" of a frustrating few weeks, huh?
Well, those phone calls are recorded and monitored so hopefully someone will pick up on the sub-standard performance of this CM and her job will go to someone better qualified.

I made sure to do the survey at the end of the call too. I had 1 other CM that wasn't great in all these calls, but everyone else had been wonderful. Just happy it was also able to be booked online.

Hello! Joining the party. Just wondering if anyone is canceling for the week may 3-9? I'll be overjoyed if you'd like to coordinate:)

Still keeping my fingers crossed for a cancellation between Aug 21 and 26. Would LOVE to get one for the 24 because that is the day we are planning on being in MK.

Congrats to all who were finally able to book today!

Ok, I have a question: So many of you are calling to book the party, is there an advantage to calling over booking online? I know tables are assigned in the order booked, but does calling get you a preferential place in the booking queue or something?

Just booked October 12th (Columbus Day Weekend!) online!

As someone who works as an escalation representative in a large call center, the surveys get looked at and the calls can be listened to. You can also consider finding and emailing an executive about your experience. The company I work for monitors our owners email and if the claim is legitimate then it gets sent to my department to take care of. I bet Disney does the same.
