Back from the most magical place on earth...with memories forever etched in my family's lives.
A challenging past 6 months with my mother-in-law being diagnosed with lung cancer and passing much too early, 4 weeks before our trip. My mother-in-law was so excited that we were taking our DD/her oldest granddaughter to WDW for her 16th birthday present... even in the hospital she asked and asked about where we were staying, etc...
To all of the wonderful people on this site... a million thank you's.
I followed and followed so many suggestions on where to stay, where to eat and ultimately the thing that stuck out the most was the Wishes Dessert Party. I never had a chance to tell her about the Party.
Our table was one of the very front tables on the Tuesday before Easter. Cold, oh, so cold... and when I told my family to watch for Tinker Bell coming down from the castle (and relayed that the folks on WDWINFO chatted about this!) ... none of us expected that a human would be coming down a zip line!!! We thought it would be an image or some type of "magic".... oh, how priceless and there Tinker Bell was, right over our heads!!!
Thank you all for spreading the wonderful magic and for making this such a memorable time in the midst of such a challenging/emotional time. Yes, we are definitely helping to spread magic and pixie dust to other families.
