Wishes Cruise

This morning I was able to book a Wishes Cruise for 7/3. The only problem was that there were no more cruises left that "originated" from the Contemporary(we are eating at Chef Mickey's first). The CM who took care of me said that there was a cruise originating at the Poly that could pick us up at the Contemporary. I booked it. My question is- has any one done a cruise like this before? And is there essentially no difference between the two except for the "home base" of the boat? Thanks for any info. you can give.

On one of these boards (been "cruising around" a bit!) I read that the Wishes cruises depart from several of the resorts but will pick you up at any MK resort. Poster said that with cruise from Contemporary, they saw all of the water pageant before the fireworks, but from the Poly only saw the tail end of the pageant. My guess is that it really depends on how many stops your boat makes before heading off to the viewing area.
