Wishes and Water Pageant from Contemporary

I know that the electric water pageant typically goes past the Contemporary Resort around 10:05 and that the only time change is when Wishes starts at 9:00, and then the pageant is a little later than normal. But what about when Wishes starts at 10:00? If you are viewing from the Contemporary, will you have to watch Wishes and the water pageant at the same time, or do they delay one until the other is over? We are going to be there for dinner on a night when Wishes is at 10:00, and we would like to watch both from the Contemporary, but I'm not sure if watching both at the same time would be any good. Thanks for any tips.

wishes needs to be seem from the front of CR - but the EWP is in the back near the marina.

that say you can see the EWP from MK - it only goes to the MK when it is open late and it sounds like it might.

they both go on at same time. dont know if you can see both at same time.

Not sure about the timing when Wishes is at 10pm, but when HalloWishes/Holiday Wishes is at 9:30 pm you can see the EWP from the CR observation deck before the fireworks start, but it's not the show. The floats are already lit up and alternating between the characters and flags.
