I wish Disney would have more character meals that were geared to boys and not just girls. For the life of me I don't understand why they don't have a Toy Story,Lion King or Pirates of Carribean meal, but yet they have quite a few Princess meals. Just venting as I am either going to go to the Tusker House or Chef Mickey AGAIN!!! I know they have a Chip and Dale meal but unfortunately it isn't for breakfast =(

:) Have you done Whispering Canyon?? It is a cute cowboy type theme. but you are right they don't really cater to the boys in the character meal regard.

Ooooh, a boy CM would be sooo cool!! We could have Jack Sparrow, Peter Pan & the like!!!:yay:

Hi! :) I would love to see a buffet with Toy Story or pirates characters. That would be really cool.:thumbsup2 I would love to see how the imagineers would decorate the dining rooms.:goodvibes

Who could afford it if they did? ;)

I think that a Pirates themed attraction would be fun.

I agree with you...they need more boy character meal. We went to Cape May when they used to have Chip and Dale (wondering why they remove them b/c it was one we went to). We go to Tusker house too ever trip but we do enjoy that one. For me CM is not great food but my son loves the character there.

We enjoy Tusker House too, but more for the food and less for the characters. The characters there are great, but I think the interaction isn't the greatest.

Does Dinsey have a suggestion box for dining experiences? :rotfl2:

I've been saying this for years now! :sad2: What I really don't get is why they don't see that unlike princess breakfasts which pretty much only appeal to the girls these options would appeal to both! It would be a win-win!! :confused3

Sounds like a super idea to me... I know in the new plans for MK there is a new Princess dining place coming... :)

1) Boys don't sell, girls do.
2) Even if they sold to boys, it might turn off girls.
3) Thus, not well attended.
4) Been part of lots of conversations on the matter.
5) Just plain facts.
6) Ever hear of a prince breakfast?

NOTE:
Yes, they did have a villains meal.
They did consider a Pirates meal, but nothing came of it.
Girls aren't into pirates.

I would LOVE to see a boy's themed character meal. But I understand , although I don't agree, with why they don't. If they did a Toy Story meal they could have Jessie there who might appeal to the girls who aren't into the princesses.

I am getting tired of the same old meals too and my DS is only 3!

1) Mom's make the majority of the reservations...a girl
2) The princess breakfast turn off boys. so why should it matter if it turns off girls
3)I'm positive if they offered 1 character meal that caters to boys it would be filled...they do at least 4 for girls
4) Would love to have conversation with Disney people that make the decisions
5) needs to be done
6) Toy Story breakfast, The Incredible breakfast, Pirates of Carribean breakfast...all would be appealing to the majority of boys and a lot of girls IMHO

Noone said it had to be a "prince" breakfast. :confused3 Most boys wouldn't even want that. However, Toy Story, Lion King and POC all have cross over ability to attract to both boys and girls. This way they can still make money off the girls without forgetting about the boys. I still say it's a win-win situation. My life is kids! Kids, BOTH boys and girls would enjoy a character meal like one of the above. :thumbsup2

Aren't they doing "pirate makeover" for boys now at the BBB? Why would they do that if only girls are interested in this stuff? I agree with PP who said that moms are the ones who the majority of the planning so the "girl" thing, again, doesn't make sense.

Several years ago Disney was trying to sell figures and other items geared towards boys they called the Adventurers. Peter Pan, Shang, Prince Philip, Aladdin, etc. My son LOVED this. We always wondered why they didn't try to introduce a character meal with boys in mind at this time. My son even asked why they didn't have a character meal. It would have been great!

That would be a great name for it. The Adventurers CM. They could do it at Liberty Tavern?

I don't want to sound sexist or anything and I don't have a DD...just DS's. But, I can only imagine that a DS begging to go to breakfast with the princesses would make me cave and use 2 TS credits.....probably not so for my DS's - they're happy with Pooh or mickey and friends.

You and me both! I would love new character meals! I think that Tusker House should be the characters from Lion King, Pocohontas, Jungle Book etc....And Hollywood and Vine should be Pixar characters hands down!
