I’m curious about the room hold situation. I heard that for the Platinum booking you had to pay by midnight of the booking day. But, when I logged in for Gold booking this morning, i was given the option to hold the room until 5/27. I was able to snag a room that works for us and also gets what basically amounts to a B2B with an eastern Caribbean on the Fantasy in August. I’m going to get my deposit in shortly, but I wonder if they’re sticking to that and what it will mean for rooms opening up from dropped holds…

Cabins are definitely opening up, because I've read reports on threads that there was no concierge availability for any Wish sailings at all, but checked myself this evening and did see many available. So things are opening up and will keep opening up as people drop their "I don't wanna be left out so I'll book without thinking it over" holds.

Concierge on 4-night sailings are gone. There are still some on 3-night sailings.

The maiden had a non-refundable deposit required on the day of booking. All other Wish cruises have the typical option of a 3-day hold. Yes, some rooms may return to inventory when the holds expire.

Sort of off topic but what is the cancellation policy on this ship? I’m wondering the last day I can cancel my cruise and get my deposit back? When I try searching online everything talks about the 2021 cancellation policy.

For the 7/24 3 night it is 100% refundable 90 days out, then the fees start happening.

Days Prior to Vacation Commencement Date – Fee Amount
89 to 45 days – Deposit per Guest
44 to 30 days – 50% of vacation price per Guest
29 to 15 days – 75% of vacation price per Guest
14 days or less – 100% of vacation price per Guest

This is the standard cancellation policy for most Disney ships and staterooms.

Exceptions: Maiden Voyage is non-refundable deposit - I did not look carefully as it was never an option for me date-wise, but I think it may be non-transferrable as well. Concierge staterooms are non-refundable deposit - people have gotten around that by transferring to another date. And any stateroom booked with the *GT rate (IGT, OVT, VGT) must be paid in full at the time of booking and is non-refundable. (That is not the same as a category GTY - where you book a specific category stateroom but not a STATEROOM number.) There may be other non-refundable rates, but that would be stated at the time of booking.

Thank you! So the GTY rooms also following the standard cancellation policy?
