Well I had to book our town car service today. We have a rather convaluted itinerary. MCO to Nick Hotel to Grand Floridian to Hard Rock Hotel to MCO again! I priced FLorida TOurs and they wanted $220. We've always used Tiffany but I was nervous because of the change in ownership. Well I called them this morning for a quote and they are only charging $170 and seemed really on the ball. Also got my confirmation email within minutes. Hope I did the right thing. I'll let you know when I get back.

Has anyone else used them recently?

Hi Robyn,

We used them in May and they were great. We've been using them at least seven years and we've never had a problem.

Honestly, I don't think we would travel to our WDW hotel any other way! It is quick and so convenient to make that grocery stop for water since I cannot tolerate the Orlando stuff.

It is also very cool to see your driver waiting with a sign with your name on it. He or she helps you with your luggage and off you go!

Can't wait to hear how your Tiffiany experience turns out! I am looking to book for next November. We have used them three times running.

Have a great trip!!!

We chickened out of ME for our 6/1 - 6/6 trip and have no regrets about using Tiffany Town Car. :cheer2: The service was wonderful on both legs to/from WDW. We had Marcus (sure I spelled his name wrong; he was from Brazil)...he was the most polite individual! He was right there at bottom of the escalator with our name on a board. Okay, that is my only complaint...they used a pretty cursive script and it was a bit hard to read...of course I'm nearsighted so it doesn't help. :rotfl: I don't know if was his Brazilian upbringing or what, but as soon as he met me, he shook my hand and took my carry on from me. He would not let me carry anything and tried to do the same with DH and DS...must have thought he was Superman...we had 6 bags. The grocery stop was a huge plus...I had a precise list and didn't goof off, got exactly what we wanted and were out in the 20 mins. Marcus was sitting on a bench outside and as soon as we came through the door, he jumped up, got the doors of the car open and started loading our things into the trunk..."Sit! I'll do this!"

Our trip back was just as pleasant, but for the life of me I can't remember the driver's name. :guilty: He arrived at least 20 minutes early for our pick up time, was very polite and we shared a nice conversation with him. Okay, I did think Marcus was better, but both were great at their job...Marcus just seemed to be more bubbly...more personable I guess.

I feel better now. We've always used TIffany and have been very happy with their service. Glad to know that someone who has used them since the change is still satisfied.

We use the town car service for several reasons. DH really doesn't want to drive on vacation. The only time we may rent a car for one day is when we are at Universal and go to SeaWorld because I want to stop and do the Titanic exhibt too. ALso with the grocery stop its very convenient. Once we step foot on vacation we don't want to worry about anything. Our first trip we used Mears (on Disney's recommendation) and we won't repeat that nightmare.

Just used Tiffany again for our late april trip. We always ask for Berkley , our favorite driver. We get the van. We had some problems with our flight and Tiffany was great, we called them and they were there waiting for us, 3 hours after our original flight got changed. They also did a quick stop at the hess mini mart for soda stock up and we had a different driver for a side trip from the Polynesian to Universal/IOA for the day. We love Tiffany and had another great expereince with them. Its Tiffany all the way for us.

I'm not sure I can do ME either. Free or not, it does bother me not to have my luggage with me. We have used Tiffany 4 times (had the same driver for the past 2 times - can't remember his name - very tall, middle Eastern descent). It's just too much of a convenience to pass up.

And we are staying at the BC. I read on another post how the ME bus stopped at Swan, Dolphin, Yacht and then the BC. Don't want to do that either!!

But I do need to decide soon!! :hourglass

I used Tiffany on a mult-leg vacation last August. I am using them again for another cruise + disney the end of July. I didn't realize they were sold, but it appears the service is still A+.

So glad to hear all the recent good reviews! We have Tiffany's limo booked for our trip in July. We've used them 3 times in the past but this will be the first trip since the new ownership.

:)

Just used them last week. Didn't notice any difference. Ask for Gil as your driver. He is very professional and drives professionally. ::MickeyMo

And found the service no different than it had been in the past. With 5 people and a TON of luggage we use the Van service and our driver Berkely was wonderful as always. In fact, he recognized me even though it's been 3 yrs since we last saw him.

We chickened out on ME at the last minute too and don't regret the decision one bit. :goodvibes

why are some people concerned about the change in ownership? (For the record, we used them in April and it was fine, as usual.)

We used Tiffany most recently in May and had no problems.

BTW, I asked both drivers about the change in ownership and how it was affecting them. They both said the change over has been seemless.

Also, the driver on the way back gave me some information that was very interesting. Tiffany doesn't own all the cars - they are a broker and contract out the work to independent drivers. Most drivers own their own cars.
