Hi everybody,

Long time no see. In honor of Disneyland's upcoming reopening later this month, I'm thinking to write a wish list on what Disneyland should do when when everything is back to normal. So here we go!

1. Since Mickey and the Magical Map and Frozen Live At The Hyperion is sadly not going to come back after the reopening, I suggest they make new shows for Fantasyland Theatre and Hyperion Theatre. For Fantasyland Theatre, make a new show similar to Mickey and the Magical Map, only this time, add Minnie, Donald, and Goofy to join Mickey on adventures through Disney animated movies past, present, and future. I know a lot of you want to see Fantasyland Theatre destroyed, but, I don't want it destroyed. I don't mind if the theatre gets rebuild, but we need a stage show wether you guys like it or not. As for Hyperion Theatre, adapt another animated feature into a 50 to 60 minute musical. I can't think of one right now, I guess maybe Tangled or if it goes well, Encanto.

2. Bring in more rare characters more often. There's a lot of characters we haven't seen for quite a while. The last rare characters were meet and greeting before Disneyland closed for the pandemic, Hercules and Meg were out for meet and greeting from time to time. And Clarabelle Cow and Horace Horsecollar were out from time to time also, even in holidays. So maybe now that kids get to see the movies they haven't grew up with possibly Disney+, there's a possible chance we see more rare characters more often when the pandemic is over.

3. Update Pinocchio's Daring Journey and Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. I don't want those two to be replaced. However, because Alice In Wonderland, Peter Pan's Flight, and Snow White's Enchanted Wish (AKA Snow White's Scary Adventure) have been updated, I liked to see Pinocchio's Daring Journey and Mr. Toad's Wild Ride get updated as well.

4. Create a new Muppet attraction. Since Muppet Vision 3D is no longer at DCA. I would suggest create a Muppet attraction, only this time, make it a ride. Maybe bring back the idea of The Great Muppet Movie Ride and maybe replace either Monsters INc. ride or the place that used to be a cafeteria when DCA first open in 2001.

5. Let Magic Happens Parade continue to perform while it has catching up to do. If necessary, create a new parade for maybe either on Disneyland's 70th anniversary or later this decade.

6. Bring back Paint the Night Parade either at DL or DCA.

7. If they want to create new attractions for Fantasyland like either Beauty and the Beast, Tangled, or Frozen, I suggest replace Storybook Canal Boats and Casey Junior Train Ride. I don't want Fantasyland Theatre to be replaced.

8. If this Society of Explorers and Adventurers tv series is going to happen and since Jungle Cruise is going to be updated based on SEA, I suggest update Big Thunder Mountain Railroad with a storyline for SEA and maybe Matterhorn too, if possible.

9. While I love Christmas Fantasy Parade, I'm starting to feel that maybe they should make a new Christmas parade whenever they do that.

10. And finally, make a new daytime parade for DCA. I don't know what they should do, maybe a Marvel parade?

And that is my wish list for what Disneyland should do when they get back to normal. I hope some of them will come true, but I'll try not to get my hopes up, but we'll see.

For number 7, there is space where the motorboats used to be, no need to replace anything. Other than that, I think your list is spot on.

I also like a lot of your list, thanks for sharing, TsWade. For me the main thing would be to add in more classic Disney to make DL feel even more Disney. I am not a fan of Mr. Toad so would not mind it being replaced (or at least updated). I sincerely am glad a lot of you do enjoy this ride as is :) ITA Pinocchio could be made a little longer anyway. I'd love to see the Winnie the Pooh ride made to have more of a Hundred Acre Wood feel.

Retheme Storybookland Canal boats to show Disney scenes or our favorite characters in everyday life. I've said this before. Donald and Daisy taking a boat ride or Mickey walking Pluto or Pooh and friends on a picnic. Not a Nemo fan so the subs could be reimagined, too.

I would love for the DL RR to be truly updated, especially the dinosaur part. I admit to being disappointed by the remodel of this ride.

On my last trip, I noticed a lot of the indoor rides are just so very loud a lot of the time. I'd like to see the volume turned down a little anyway.

I would absolutely love for the Candlelight Processional to be extended over at least a week's time and it possible for the public to reserve a seat in advance.

On a fun note, bring back the pink cotton candy carts where you could watch the sugary pink fluff being spun before your eyes.

1. I mostly agree. But I'd prefer a unique half hour stage show to another rehashing of an animated movie. Aladdin was fun when the carpet worked and Genie had good jokes but I'd be glad to see something better replace Frozen.

2. Agree. I espeically hope they have more passholder exclusive greetings and more variation at the Visa greeting area. They should also figure out a way to allow people to know what character greetings and what character drawings at Animation Academy are available when people book flights but that doesn't seem like it'll happen.

3. I think those 2 rides are fine but I am not against an update, especially of Mr Toad. I actually hope they figure out a way to get rid of the squeaks from the track on Peter Pan.

4. Monsters Inc should stay and they need to have screamer of the day. I'd rather they get rid of Philhar Magic because its inferior to the versions in the other Disney parks.

5. A new parade would be cool but I actually think there have been enough new parades. If anything, they could cycle through Soundsational, Pixar Play, Magic Happens and the Christmas parade by season. I actually hope they can bring over some of the floats from Happiness is Here over from Tokyo. I know a couple floats went to Hong Kong but maybe the remaining ones can still be a parade?

6. Disneyland's version of Paint the Night is my favorite but I'm pretty sure they brought over a lot of the stuff to Hong Kong so not sure how practical this is. If they still have any of the floats remaining, maybe they can turn that into a new parade.

7. I don't want Storybook Land, Casey Jr or Alice to be replaced. These are what make Disneyland's Fantasyland unique.

8. Big Thunder Mountain is already part of SEA canon and doesn't really need retheming in my opinion. It wouldn't be too hard to shoehorn Matterhorn into the SEA timeline by saying someone from SEA or the League of Adventurers visited. League of Adventurers seems to make the most sense because they encountered the yeti at Expedition Everest. But I actually want them to do something about the Matterhorn track which is shakey and uncomfortable.

9. Agree. And they should change Soarin Over California and Soarin Around the World so that you see the Christmas parade during Christmas only and a regular shot of the park during other times of the year.

10. I don't want a Marvel parade. Maybe an updated Pixar Play.

I kind of don't think any of these rides need a major retheme since I like all of them as they are right now. But I absolutely agree with the cotton candy and Candlelight Processional. Like 10 years ago, they had Candlelight on most nights in December and Annual Passholders had a lottery to get seats. That was the only time I got to see Candlelight and I don't know why they didn't do that again.

The rides I'd like to see changed are Space Mountain and Star Tours. Space Mountain really needs it's visuals updated or at least the stars brighter. Star Tours should actually be moved over to Galaxy's Edge but since that is unlikely to happen, they should put all the scenes back in rotation including the rare scenes at a reasonable rate. As a minor bonus, they should update the screens and water/wind effects at Midway Mania so they are at least up to par with WDW and Tokyo.
