I was watching a "Disney Behind the Scenes" show on Netflix the other day, and I was struck by how outdated (and sad) Sleeping Beauty's dress looked. I've also noticed this on our last few trips. We've done both the Akershaus dinner and the CRT dinner, and all the princesses looked pretty polished which the exception of Aurora's costume. All the other princesses (I think) have very nice dresses that are a pretty accurate reflection of how they are depicted in the Disney movies & books.
I wonder if Disney will update Aurora's costume for the Fantasyland update? I remember about 10+ years ago Winnie the Pooh's "costume" looked (to me) a little outdated (like in this episode of Roseanne where Darlene meets Pooh - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OUGCpnZ47Q). But now the Pooh costume is much closer to the way he is depicted in the movies (https://enterpriseportal.disney.com/gopublish/sitemedia/TPR/News_DLR/pooh_bear_hunny2_500.jpg).
Just curious if anyone else has thought about this, or noticed if there's any rhyme or reason to when Disney decides to update character "costumes."
(sorry if there's some Disney-fied word for the character outfits, I just don't know what it is)
