My DD is playing the violin in front of an audience, for the first time. I go to her Christmas Recital in a few hours and I am a nervous wreck.

Thanks

It is always hard to watch your children perform I think. Very stressful and wonderful all at the same time.
Just try to remain calm, upbeat and as normal as possible so that your nerves are not too obvious to her.
She will do great!

I know the feeling. My dd9 was in a a play at school last week. She fidgited the whole time; rubbing her face, pulling up her pants which did not need it, and she couldn't keep time with the other kids. It was very sad, but she redemed herself with her one line which was loud, clear and perfect unlike most of the kids who ran through their lines so fast it was just mummble mummble mummble, next. :rotfl: At least she was better than the others at one thing! Oh, and no crazy woman cheering the kids and singing along with them this time. :lmao:

Thanks for the good thoughts. She did great. I guess I was just nervous
