I ordered a NB one late last week (from the link in the weekly thread) that I should be getting soon. Figured I would try them and see (so now I will have the brief, 3.5" and 5" shorts) One has got to work, right?!

Cryssi, from what everyone has posted, and the email I got from running skirts, the briefs are true to size, and the athletic run a bit looser, so I ordered my pants size in brief, and one down in the athetic. HTH!

Carrie and Leana, thank you. I don't have the issue with the NB skirt. The shorts do ride but they are so soft and comfy, I don't notice too much. I have VERY muscular legs and I prefer the shorts. You are slowly talking me into the briefs though. I have until the end of April....right...

Lisa - Yes, they are sooo soft. I have major chub rub issues, though. If they ride, it's bad, even if I body glide.

I just ordered one more from runningskirts.com. I went with pinkymaroon. As for the sizing, I found them to run true to size.

I am really wanting the midnight sky skirt too, although my size is out till next month. Does anyone have a pic in that one to share?

Well, I went home for a few minutes to grab some lunch (I live only 1 mile from work), and my skirts were there! They came super fast, and they are really cute!

Of course I had to try them on right away, even though I needed to get back to work.

I am generally an 8-10 right now, so I went with the smaller size and bought the size 3 (supposedly an 8). That was definitely the right choice - they fit really well, and could even go a little tighter (so if I lose weight I may have to move to a size 2, which might bug my pocketbook, but sure would be good for my ego!). So I recommend going a size down if you are debating. They are super comfortable - I have obviously not gotten a chance to run in them yet, but they felt great when I put them on.

They are also cute! I feel a little like a Catholic school girl in them since I haven't worn a skirt that short since I was in my early 20s. I'll have to get used to my thighs showing like that!

I'll be trying them on a run on Sunday if it's warm enough, and will give you more feedback then.

I *JUST* ordered my navy and white running skirt. I only ordered one since I don't know how it will fit me...and how I will feel in it...but I am very excited at the prospect. I also just ordered a Sugoi chocolate stamina skirt which also looks really nice. I love their products as well!

I do have a NB running skirt which I really like...but I tend to wear it more for spin class, which makes those longer shorts a necessity!

I got my skirts. I ordered the lady bug one actually, and the navy athletic. I put both on, and both felt pretty good. I ran through the house and they were pretty nice, so I went for it and ordered the Minnie Dot! I applied the discount again, and it worked!!

I got my skirts. I actually ordered two sizes after reading on here. I went down a size in the "brief" and that worked well. (I got the black/pink brief skirt with the matching shirt.) I got a navy "compression short"

I think I am going to back order the "Minnie" now.

Carrie - I also wear a 12 and am on the high side of it. Ordered the 10-12 and got my running skirt yesterday (athletic style). It fits great. Think you'll be fine.

I hadn't got the discount as part of the original transaction but emailed them and Cindy took care of it right away.

When someone tries the brief version with the same "athletic thighs" issues, let me know how they feel. Love the Minnie dot but was afraid of trying it.
