WISH Check- in Week Of May 18

My first week here but I did lose one pound! The really exciting thing for me though is that I did my pilates workout three times this week! I think my stomach might be a bit smaller:sunny:

Congrats SnackyStacky! You must have caused quite a stir - making goal and removing your underwear... I'd call that a great day!

Audrey

Wow! Congratulations one and all!

I lost a pound this week, which is good, since this weekend has been a shove something in my mouth weekend. So, see me run as quick as I can with that one pound!! (and I just finished slicing up a bowl of veggies ready for the evening. ;)

Congradulations to all my losser friends. Dan you are awesome and just on a side note i would have stripped for GOAL too.LOL I am so proud you'll be here to help those of us who need encourgement when we hit goal and go into maintance. I'm so happy and proud for you Dan.

I'm still down 22 pounds. I almost made it through the weekend (even without roasted marshmallows) but we went to see 'Daddy Daycare' tonight and I had some popcorn. THAT is not going to help me make my goal by Friday

I actually did a 3 hour moonlight Nature walk at Girl Scout camp this weekend along with biking and horseback riding. It felt really good and I didn't have a difficult time making it at all.

You are all amazing. With the ups and downs of dieting, you are truly champions. I wish I could tell each and everyone one of you how I personally feel, but there is just not enough time in my day. But always know that I am so very proud of all of you. :)

becka Look at you! And to think just a few days ago you were feeling bad about yourself. See? I told you that you could do this! I knew it all along. So did everyone else. You shouldn’t doubt yourself, Becka. You have definitely got what it takes to be successful.

Isn’t it just the greatest feeling to realize that you are such a success? I’m so happy and proud for you. I can tell you are feeling pretty proud of yourself, right now, and I think that is excellent!

Love that new clippie, it’s just gorgeous. Won’t be too long before you have that 25 pound loss clippie and then you know what’s next, don’t you? GOLD!! So exciting, huh? That’s something to look forward to, isn’t it?

You are getting closer to goal everyday!

perdidobay

My % of body fat is down slightly, so that's a good thing!

That’s not just a good thing, that’s a great thing. That’s the whole point behind your weight loss endeavor, isn’t it? Isn’t your percentage of body fat really the most important number? Way more important than what you actually weigh. Your goal is to get rid of the fat and by golly, you are getting rid of the fat.

I think that’s great! I’m really proud of you. You faced challenges and you were still able to maintain your weight and reduce your body fat. That’s amazing! That’s progress! Would you rather be 10 pounds lighter and the same percentage body fat? I don’t think so, that doesn’t make any sense, does it?

You are a success! Be proud of yourself. I’m proud of you!

audflash Now, that’s what I call a good week. You lost a whole pound and you did your pilates work out 3 times. Look at you go! You are headed straight for goal and you are determined.

You are one pound closer to goal, now. You should be proud of that because that is a sign of success and we are all proud of you. :)

Debbie This weekend was a “shove something in your mouth weekend” and you still lost a pound? You must not have done as badly as you thought, then. I’m sure that you realize that you lost the equivalent of one whole tub of Canadian butter? 20 slices of bacon, an entire brick of Kraft sharp cheddar?

Way to go! If you can be so successful after a weekend of eating more than you should, just think how great you will do this week, now that you are focused and back on track. Well, it boggles the mind, that’s all I can say.

You are the most loveable person, sweetie. I’m really proud of you.

Kelsie I’m proud of you for taking that moonlight walk. Was it very cold?

I know that after losing so quickly it’s a little discouraging to slow down to one or two pounds a week, but you will still reach your goal. It may take you a few days longer to lose that 3 pounds that seems to be tormenting you, but you will lose it if you just don’t give up.

You should have seen me during February. I took that challenge and just stopped losing weight. I was watching all of these people new to Atkins induction losing 7,8,9, 10 pounds and all I could do was sit there and smile :)

You are going to do this Kels. I promise. Now get psyched for this week and get those last 3 pounds off.

I’m leaving in two hours to drive to the Detroit Metro airport. I will land in Orlando at 10:15. I’m always afraid to go to sleep when I have to get up at 2am, I’m afraid I won’t hear the alarm. So, I decided to get caught up with the check-in thread :) I’m glad that I did. It’s a great way to start a trip, feeling proud and happy for my WISH pals.

Onward and downward, my friends. Focus on your goal and smile!

Katholyn

No complaints here: 2 lb. loss for thie week for a grand total of 17lbs. on WISH and 58 lbs from my top:D :D

Was not great this week, I had too many Atkins treats, so I'm thrilled with my loss.

New Challenge for me: I leave town on May 27, soooo, I want to lose 3 lbs. and get my 20lb clippie before my trip. 8 days of strict induction here I come.

Onwards and Downwards!!!

Well....I had weighed myself (I know, NOT a good thing to do) on Thursday after the bloat fairy had relieved itself from me :D and I was down. Then the rest of the week happened and I was so worried that I wouldn't do much today or that I would have gained. Well...I'm happy to report....

I'M DOWN ANOTHER 2 POUNDS FOR A TOTAL OF 4!!!!!
:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Next week I'm getting that 5 pound clippie!!!!!!

AND.....CONGRATS!!! To all who lost or maintained this week - keep up the good work.

And to anyone who gained - you are doing well just by staying here and checking in and that says something!!!!! Keep it up and you can do it!!!

Reading about how all of you are doing is so inspiring! My big news for this, my first wish week, was that I started induction (for the second time), and stuck it out, and I feel much better now. As a bonus, I lost 2 lbs, probably mostly water, but I will take it!

I noticed a couple of wish-ers are training for tbe WDW marathon. I have been mulling this over, and also thinking about the danskin triathalon in WDW. (I do like to swim, and when I have time to get in th pool, I already swim more thatn the Danskin swim leg--I think the prospect of swimming competitively is what interests me about Danskin).
I have moderately bad knees, so I am not sure if I could physically do the mileage for the marathon. I am just curious where everyone is with regards to starting to run/making hte decision to try this. (This may be the wrong spot for this q, but I figured I'd throw it out there!)

Enough about me! I am so impressed with all of you! I visit here every day, just to see what everyone is up to! Happy week to all!
Samantha

Looks like everyone is off to a great start this week. Congrats to all.

I weighed in early this week because I just couldn't wait to see if I lost those 3lbs I gained in Disneyworld.

I am happy to report that I lost those 3lbs plus 1 extra, so I am pleased.

I have the pictures from my trip posted on snapfish now I just have to find out how to put a link in my signature so everyone can see them.

Ok, this is my second official WISH weigh - in and last week the scale was stuck!:) But the good news was it didn't go up and having already taken off 45 lbs prior to joining WISH on this leg of the journey I knew that as I edged closer to goal it would slow and plateau from time to time.

So I wasn't too sure what I'd find this morning but even the new clothes I'd purchased felt a bit looser the last few days. The scale was wavering between 2 & 3 - so I'll take the 2 pound loss for this week!

That is 2 pounds since joining WISH and 47 pounds since the end of January '03. (and 87 from my all time heaviest!) I'll take it! :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I'm now only 5 pounds from being in the "normal" weight range for the first time in I don't know how many years. I'd like to reach that goal by the time we cruise June 21st.

That means 13 pounds to my original goal and 28 to the "ideal" weight for my height. OMG!!!!!!! I just realized that I have LESS THAN 30 pounds to make that ideal weight! You know the one the dieticians and everyone holds out there that seems so impossible I couldn't even set it as my original goal!

I CAN DO THIS!!!!!

Deb

Hi everyone!

I want to say welcome to the new WISH'ers, congrats to the Losers! Hang in there for those struggling. And everyone, enjoy MAY, I LOVE this month!!!!

I am doing great. My attitude has come full circle and have learned so much and really learned alot. My weigh in isn't till Thursday, but I'll keep you posted. I am starting my own 6 week challenge that I am really excited about.

WISHers, we have another GREAT week happening here!! I am so glad that I have such a fantastic group of people here, supporting each other.

I am kicking up my heels in celebration because I have a loss to report!

TOM is rapidly approaching but that isn't going to stop me from getting that GOLD clippie next week!! SO close this week! I am moving onward and downward!!

Not too good....went to a family graduation weekend and I gained 3 lbs!!! Now I'm 7 lbs above my WW goal, and even though it's not too much, I'm just not going in the right direction. I will journal, I will journal, I've got to remember "if you bite it you write it." I just rationalize too much when I don't!

Back on track today,
Renee

I'm happy to report that I maintained while on our trip. :teeth: Sorry, Kath, I'm just too tired to jump up & down! :earseek:

The really good news is that I measured & discovered that the tape measure has finally moved! I'm down 1" in my waist & 1" in my upper arms! The clothes I'd grown out of are fitting me comfortably now!

Hopefully now that we're home I'll get back on track & lose the last little bit I need to get off for my 10 lb clippie. I'm really inspired to see all the losses being posted here.

I'm so excited!!!! I had my first weigh in a WW today and I lost.....
(drum roll, please!)

4.6 Pounds!!!!!!!!!

This is so huge for me. It's been so long since I actually stuck it out for a week on a diet without cheating!

LOL- I guess I really should say that I'm flushed with success since most of that 4.6 went down the drain this week. I don't care, though, I'll take it anyway I can get it.

Well, I forgot to post my last WW weigh-in (from last Thursday). I was only down 0.4, which put me at a total of 21.6 lost since I started WW and WISH! Not my greatest week, but I'll take it!!

My better news came today when I did my Curves measure -- since starting at Curves 2 months ago, I have lost a total of 20 inches!! I can tell you I really am starting to see/feel it in my clothes -- not to mention that I just plain old feel better.

The next week is going to be quite a challenge for me. DD graduates from HS on Saturday. (I am NOT old enough to have a child ready to go to college, BTW!!!) Between now and then, I have dinners, parties, out-of-town guests, and all kinds of occasions that will be great temptations to eat what I'm not supposed to.

Wish me luck! ;)

This is my first official WISH weigh in, so I am so excited. I LOST 2 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, this is what is exciting, do you know what that two pound loss means? It means that I don't have 101 pounds to lose, I only have 99 pounds to lose!!:earsgirl: :earsgirl: :earsgirl: :earsgirl:

LOTS of great posts this week! Congratulations to all our losers!!!!! I love to read this thread. So much excitement and joy coming through!!!! Keep up the great work, you losers! And you maintainers, great attitudes there! :) Woo-hoo!!!!

OK. I was hoping to maintain, but I gained a pound. It's my own fault. I have been off program for 2 weeks while I was waiting to start Atkins.

But...Today is THE Day! I start induction today. So onward and downward!

Went down 2.6 lbs.!!! Total of 6.8 in 3 weeks on Jenny Craig.

The real test will be next week when we're on the DISNEY MAGIC! Gonna try real hard...:D
