WISH Check-IN Week Of February 24

Leslie, that is wonderful! I'm so proud of you for losing that weight and sticking to your work out schedule!

After being bummed for 2 weeks it's back on the wagon. I've decided the scale is not my friend and will not weigh. It's too discouraging. My clothes are fitting looser all the time but the weight keeps creeping up. But my attitude is better this week and I'm back in the gym.

Congrats to those that lost weight and to those that didn't, hang in there. Never, never quit.
 
I joined WISH about 2 weeks ago, but have only weighed once (I couldn't go to WW one week because of a bridal shower commitment). I gained 1.2 pounds, but now I am choosing to be motivated (even when I don't feel like it). I really want this extra weight off! I did Curves yesterday, and I will go again tomorrow night. Then we're going on vacation, but I want to try very hard to at least maintain while I'm there.

I am not a loser! :(

I waited until today to weigh myself just to have a few extra days to see if a pound would come off. Nope. I gained!!! I know it's muscle gain, but I am pouting big time. ;) So I have officially only lost two pounds. I really want my five pound clippie, but at this rate, it will be the end of March or April before I get it!!!!

However, I tried on some pants yesterday that used to cut the circulation to my lower body off. They fit fine! A little snug in the bum, but the thighs were comfy and I could button them without having to perform any acrobatics. I wore them all day and they just kept getting looser. :)

So I am finally motivated to start using my weights on a regular basis again. If I'm going to walk/run and gain weight, I might as well get those arms looking good. At least my chest hasn't shrunk down to an Almost A (yet).
 

Stayed the same this week....that's 3 weeks in a row now...guess I should be happy I haven't gained anything.....

As it were, I've had a strep throat since Saturday :( , and I haven't been able to eat much. So ... according to my scale, I think I lost at least 5 pounds, but won't be able to make it to WW until at least Friday to get an official weigh in. They will probably think I'm a prodigy or something. :D

But, before I lost my appetite, I wasn't too happy with the way I was eating. I was consistently eating 3-4 points over my total a day and decided I needed to be more vigilant. Then, this. As it were, I have been writing down my points everyday anyway, although it's been less than 20 a day. But, I figure it will be a headstart when I get my appetite back.

So ... I'll let you know.
 
No WWweigh-in for me this week--got a snow day instead (can't complain about a day off work with pay!)--so I'll have to just keep being good. I was good this past week, so I can do it again!

Yet another week of no loss, no gain. The Girl Scout cookies are gone, so I was hoping for at least a little loss, but nothing.

How long until I get kicked off the WISH board? :(

You better not get kicked off Amy -- because that means that I would have to leave too! Don't worry -- we will soon join this big bunch of losers!;)
 
I just started, so I have no real loss to speak of. I'm looking forward to checking-in next week!

WW weigh in was today. Lost 0.4 pounds for a total of 19.8 lost since November. I just can not break through that 20 pound mark, which will be the first 5 pounds since I signed on to WISH. Maybe next week. At least I am a loser.
 
A loss is a loss, Carol. Good for you. I weigh in tomorrow. I hope I have lost at least 1/2 pound, I haven't seen the scale move down since February 3rd and I'm feeling a little frustrated.

I'm officially going tomorrow to WW weigh-in,tomorrow night but on my scale I definitely lost a few this week. Now, I hope to encourage all who have been on a plateau these last few weeks. I KNOW how you feel! What I did that helped was exercise alittle more, DRINK MORE WATER, also, when I need food I....

eat popcorn
eat jello (sugarfree)
eat a salad
eat cooked shrimp
eat a slimfast bar


I hope these suggestions help someone!:D
 
I got another star at our meeting today. Hooray! It's been a very long time since the last one.

I have lost 65.4 pounds since 12/3/01.
 
I have no real verified loss to speak of yet since I just started ( I think I may have lost 1 lb but can't tell because of my cheap scales-it tells me different things depending on how I stand). I have worked out 3 of the 4 days since I started which I think is pretty good considering it is freezing here. I have also actually been showing some willpower as far as eating is concerned. I have an appointment to check out Curves but it keeps getting cancelled because of snow and ice. Maybe I will finally get started there tomorrow. I really need to get this weight off this time.
 
Go for it, disneyfanforever. Every small change helps.

I know how you feel Katholyn. I have been hovering just below the 20 pound loss now for several weeks. It gets frustrating at times but I think I can do it.

Okay, I weighed in this AM and I officially have lost.......<b>1 pound</b>!

Okay, so it's not a lot, but at least the scale is moving in the right direction finally.

That makes 19.5 since I started Atkins 1/9/03 and 1.5 pounds lost since I began the WISH challenge. I should have waited to start atkins until after I took the challenge, it looks like it will be summer before I get that 5 pound clippie that I covet.

It's a new week for me. I'm going to drink even more water and add time on my elliptical this week. Only a minute but that is still added time :teeth:
 
After a very slow start, I'm finally sticking to my plan. I'm even ignoring the 12 boxes of Girl Scout cookies in my kitchen (my daughter's a Girl Scout and , yes, we bought them). I'm doing Atkins induction with Paleo foods, if that makes any sense. Still waiting for the sugar cravings to pass, wonder how long that takes? Anyway, my reward today is to add a five pound clippie to my signature! Yay!
 
Yay, Dancind, good for you getting that 5 pound clippie.

I was one of the lucky people who did not experience any withdrawal at all during Atkins induction. Neither did my husband. I don't know how long it takes to get past that stage, but I know you can do it!
