Oooooooh what store?!

I can't WAIT to be able to fit better in cute clothes :laundy:

Could do with a decent athletic clothing store here in the UK!!! Having said that, I did wear my new Adidas running tigjhts for the parkrun this morning that DH got me for Christmas. They're a large, so I am officially out of extra large!!

Been really quiet around here, but I'm sure folks are hovering in the background.

So time for QOTWE...........what is one small change that you intend to make in 2014 that will make a big difference???? I have decided to add on an extra 1k whenever I run at the gym....6k instead of 5 will burn more calories and help with my endurance (and hopefully help tighten a few wobby bits too!!)

See you all later

:wave2:

Happy Holidays! :santa:

I just threw my scale in the ring for January and thought I would pop in over here and say Hi!

I see some familiar faces and new ones so I am looking forward to catching up with and getting to know everyone.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! I am looking forward to the new year and all it is going to offer! Thanks to everyone who has provided much need motivation for the last few months! My weigh loss journey is still a work in progress, but I am closer now to my goal weight then ever! :cool1:

Morning everyone.......well at least 3 of you are still out there!!!!

Back to work for me today, so I'm taking a quick break to catch up here (didn't take long ha ha!!!)

So, QOTD for Monday 30th December 2013.......are you splurging on food/drink for NYE, or just having a quiet time at home or with friends???

I will be having a non-diet meal at home with DH as he has put in a request for my special lasagne.....cheese sauce, cheese on top, red wine in the meat sauce...you get the picture!! Served with garlic bread with yet more cheese!!!! (and I have a couple of bottles of Belgian raspberry beer to go with it!!)

There is a parkrun on New Years Day, but at a different location......it's run on grass which is something I am not familiar with, and the weather here is forcast to be wet and windy, so I don't want to ruin my Ghost 6 in the mud!!!! I'm not really a fair weather runner (ran in 2 degrees and light rain on Saturday), but I might give this particular one a miss.

Hope you're all having a good time and that most of the 'bad' food has now either been consumed or has been rehomed!

Be back later to see if anyone is out there.............

Woohoo, just managed to order some new running gear in the online sale!!!! Now looking at a second pair of Ghost 6 for only (!) £74.99!!!!

without squeezing, jumping, tucking or sucking in-----

I fit in a size 8 today. Single digit!

:woohoo: Congratulations! That is wonderful! ::yes::

There are still a few of us out here. :lmao:

Your dinner sounds yummy, Helen! You've had such a great year a splurge meal isn't going to derail you. ::yes::

Running on wet slippery grass doesn't sound like fun at all. :sad2: I freely admit that I am a fair weather runner -- that's why I did 9.5 miles on the indoor track on Saturday. :rotfl: I do admire you for your consistency and ability to get out there in all kinds of weather! :thumbsup2

I have to work that night from 6pm to 6am on Wed morning so no special treat or dinner for me, but it is not all bad as I am already in overtime and get paid holiday pay so more money toward Disney trip. I will miss my family as they ring in the New Year together, but at least I have a job!

I have splurged here and there over the last week or so, but have really tried to stay on track. It helps that I am gluten free and most of the treats at work are baked goods and a no go for me!

I am hoping to get a long run in on Thursday or Friday as I picked up an extra shift on Friday night which will put me at 5 12 hr shifts in a row and running or biking will prove difficult those days!

I hope everyone has a wonderful New Years and hope to see you on the Jan board!
