Wireless Router - Need Recommendation

I agree with the apple AirPort Extreme. Worth every penny!

The Apple is hiding the wifi data rate number on the Airport Extreme, so I am assuming it is still around 175mbs for the 2.5ghz and the 5ghz

For the SAME PRICE the Linksys EA4500 wifi data rate is 450mbs for both the 2.5ghz and the 5ghz.

Basically the Apple is selling a 2 year old product for this years price.

You might think the speed difference is important considering your home internet speed is slower but the difference is noticeable when you try and transfer pictures between computers or if you have wifi data backups.

You are backing up your pictures, music, videos, and other important files right?

My wife's friend just had her apartment broken into and they took her MacBook, DVDs, Blue ray player and TV. She lost all of her stuff because she did not back anything up.

My wife says my 2yr old DS spilled juice on her laptop and killed it a few months ago. She was worried about loosing the baby pic of our son but I had the auto back up done a week prior and nothing was lost.
