Wireless Computer Access

Do the new premium sites have wireless computer access? We have not had luck with our laptop and hope that Disney will not charge anymore for a modem kit. Heck, even McDonalds has FREE wireless!

they do charge extra for internet access plus it's not wireless they just give you the modem and cables but NO wireless but at least you can get on lne n your own site otherwise you can go to the front there s a spot at the front gate where they have wireless plus i heard they have access at the trialsend but you still have to pay they do a 24 hr access for ? can't remember how much unless they changed it since Nov 07 when we went

premium sites use to be the only ones with cable know they all will be getting cable just the premium sites will have other improvements like wider concrete pads and more space along with new picnic tables and grills hope this helped

Does anyone know what loops will be the premium sites? Just booked for January and booked the premium site with no clue what I booked. LOL

It always amazes me that a Company as Progressive as Disney has only managed to come into the mid-90's as far as the Internet is concerned. The only place that I've found that is dependable is to go the Cyber Cafe at the Gate and Hard Wire in. I've tried everything else and it just doesn't work. And BTW I've had the same experience when i stay at the Resorts the Internet sucks there too.

It's free at the DVC resorts. But it is hard wire.

There is wifi available at the Meadows trading post and Settlement area. You pay $9.95 per day and you must have charging privelages set up on your resort ID in order to connect.

I had a "supposedly urgent need" to check e-mail call from work while down there. Made an attempt to connect, did not have the charging privelages set up on the resort ID, so no luck. Also, no urgent need to check e-mail either. Maybe lack of being wired 100% of the time is not so bad? At least disconnected from work.
