Wire transfers — how long after sending did your contract close?

DH and I purchased VGF direct on 01/10/23 and sent wire transferred balance owing on contract (internationally from Canada) on 01/19/23. How long did it take Disney to process your payment and mark contract as closed?

I keep checking my DVC for status updates bc I’m so anxious about all the money I just sent!

Did you buy direct or resale? Resale can’t close until the seller sends back the paperwork.

Then once it does, the closing thread mentioned above would give you an idea of how long it will take for MA to create your account and have MS load your points.

Direct. So the pts are actually already in my acct. I’m more just curious to see how long the money will actually take to process so we can officially be closed.

I don’t know about international wires, but domestic wires are available immediately.

International wire transfers can take 1-5 days, you are at day 3, but if you’re concerned call member services to see if they’ve received your funds. I’m always on edge when I transfer money too & w/ DVC we’re talking a lot of money .
After they receive & process your funds they’ll need to file the deed w/ the OC recorder @ which point you’ll be officially closed & that can take another week or two. You can search here for your name https://www.occompt.com/official-records/search-official-records/ to see if your deed has recorded.
