Wire for making earrings

I want to make myself some earrings, but can't find wire for it. Does anyone have any ideas where I could buy 2 or 4 gauge wire that I could use to make earrings? I can't find anything larger than 14g at the craft stores around here.

Your best bet would be to go to an actual bead or jewelry making store. They would be able to help you find it if they don't carry it themselves.
