Winner of Best Non-Attraction Experience in the World and Announcing Biggest WISH for the World!

Everyone's had such good ideas so far....nothing I'm adding will be earth-shattering.

-Add Greece to World Showcase, replacing the refreshment outpost.
-Convert the old Odyssey Restaurant into One Man's Dream
-There should be a half-dozen "rare" characters in each park each day. Not for scheduled meet-greets, but just randomly walking around the parks interacting with guests.
-A massive overhaul of Tomorrowland. Convert the speedway to an Autopia-themed ride. Replace "Stitch's Great Escape" with that Tron ride from one of the other Disney parks(can't remember which one), and re-imagine Buzz Lightyear's SRS as an Incredibles-themed dark ride.
-Bring back the "Celebrity of the day" at DHS. When the park first opened, an actual celebrity was present each day for the afternoon parade/motorcade. Doesn't have to be a major celebrity, just someone recognizable enough that Guests will get a kick out of it.

I can't choose so here's my top 10

Be able to build a ride in 12-18 months

Add a casino to the Grand Floridian

Return the Adventurers Club

Rent rooms in the Hollywood Hotel

Open a Club 33 style restaurant on Main Street USA

Go back to training CMs better than the folks at Walmart

More backstage tours of rides and locations

Offer tours of Pete Werners kitchen and studio

Sell butter-beer, but call it Chip N Dales nutty-beer

Make better food like DL does

1. LOTS more characters roaming. Love to see them just strolling through the parks...and the resorts.

2. Please rescue Future World.

3. Would love to see Disney's once-incredible level of service and perfection come back to life.

4. For heaven's sake, make our American Showcase area the crown jewel of World Showcase. We should be beaming with pride at what we can show to our foreign visitors. This area needs major work. A great sit-down restaurant is needed, maybe an Appalachian Clogging show (true Americana and would be incredibly sprited), a jazz club (jazz is solely unique to the US), beautiful basket-weaving demonstrations in the tradition of S. Carolina, Native American arts (this could be an incredible area...museum, showplace, gift shop, demonstrations). The ideas are endless.

5. Bring back the attraction "If You Had Wings". It used to be sponsored by Eastern Airlines.

Honorable Mentions:
Add India, French Polynesia and Switzerland to World Showcase.
Add monorail to Animal Kingdom.

1. Imagination - I'm not necessarily looking for the original ride to come back exactly the way it was, but something built on the story and foundation of the original with a blend of old school and new tech...something beautiful and inspired like the original. And since the whole pavilion could use some help, bring back the Rainbow Corridor and some of the other fun things along with more modern options that are fun for all.

2. Monsters Inc Door Roller Coaster - I remember seeing the movie shortly after it came out and after seeing the door scene towards the end, I thought that it would make an amazing inverted coaster where you ride the door.

3. Mary Poppins attraction - I recall hearing that a Mary Poppins dark ride was an idea for Fantasyland, but it never happened. I don't think Mary gets enough love and needs an attraction.

4. A Taste of America restaurant - Of all of the spots in the World Showcase, I think we can all probably agree that the US is lacking in terms of a good restaurant. I've always wanted them to offer a restaurant where there were multiple themed dining rooms based on iconic spots in the US. i.e. you could be eating dinner on the Brooklyn Bridge or the edge of the Grand Canyon. The menu would then offer dishes from each region...maybe even having seasonal rotating regions.

5. Monorails Everywhere - we know it won't happen, but it would be nice if you could just hop a monorail to any point on property.

  1. Bring back the Adventurer's Club!
  2. Keep all pools at all the resorts open 24/7 (closing only briefly for cleaning and maintenance in the middle of the night).
  3. Increase/return of entertainment wandering throughout the parks. This includes random/unannounced characters, things like PUSH, or the old living statues and ziti sisters etc they used to have throughout world showcase and the streetmosphere in DHS.
  4. Another country/pavilion or two for world showcase.
  5. Reduce window for making ADRs to 60 days.

2. Monsters Inc Door Roller Coaster - I remember seeing the movie shortly after it came out and after seeing the door scene towards the end, I thought that it would make an amazing inverted coaster where you ride the door.

TOTALLY agree, and we may have had this conversation before - I have always thought the "door scenes" would make an AWESOME attraction!!! Although if it were inverted, or too rough, I wouldn't be able to ride it! :(

Busch Gardens Williamsburg's Big Bad Wolf (no longer exists) was the coaster I first thought of when I saw the doors in Monsters Inc. I don't think it had any inversions and didn't think it was too crazy. I was also 17 the last time I rode it though and wasn't nearly as phased by things back then. LOL

Funny thing is the very first theme park I visited after I had my neck/spinal surgery was BGW, and couldn't do a LOT of the rides, and certainly not the coasters (part of the reason I've never been to USO either), but I do remember the name Big Bad Wolf as one of the ones I watched my friends go on.

I gave up and just voted on Round 0 from the things listed here

Update Carousel of Progress

Go back to legacy FP, with Magic Bands, but get one at a time once you enter the park

DisneyQuest favorites relocate to Innoventions – Better yet; Update and keep DisneyQuest

Add more countries to WS (and More cowbells would be nice)

Extend the monorail to all 4 parks / :rolleyes1 Tonyz - “Like I said, let's keep it somewhat realistic...”

G'day

Side note, Project Genesis proposed a "rain forest" themed suspended coaster that would have been around (but outside) the Land Pavilion - so they have at least considered those types of attractions in the past

even more of a side note - I loved the Big Bad Wolfe ... one of my favorite coasters and loved how it zipped through the German village scene

  1. 1 Do the Halloween overlay of the Haunted Mansion during Halloween like they do at Disneyland
  2. Consistently keep Animal Kingdom open later (like 8p) Even if they closed off the Africa section where animals are housed. I think this park has potential to be enjoyed in the evening after dark and when it cools down a bit. Plus, they have the two shows that can be tough to squeeze in one 8-hour day. Everest in the dark would be fun as well. (It looks like this is slowly starting to happen as I look at September park hours that have been recently updated)
  3. Generally a few more Pixar themed rides. Something UP themed would make me happy. Even updating the theme of the Characters In Flight in DS to be the house/balloons from UP. Use Wall-E in Future World somehow. Use A Bugs Life in Animal Kingdom as a kid-friendly ride.
  4. I second the idea of paying a premium for valet parking at park locations! There are times I would love this option.
  5. And the most unrealistic... have an after-hours ticketed event at MK for adults only.
