Winkler's 2010- The fun, the exhaustion, and the painful!

I am FINALLy here :)

Love the report so far! That pic of Gabriel looking up at Isabella is so adorable, I just love it!

Can't wait to hear all the adventures, especially where the good BFing spots were. I will admit, I am also checking out the wardrobe choices you picked, looking for ideas for nursing friendly clothes for my March trip ;)

Joining in! Your kids are so adorable! I can't wait to hear about Gabriel's first time meeting Pooh!

Hi Scott! We were in the back 70s building. 6228, I think.

We got to MK, the weather was comfortable enough, but it was PACKED!!! We walked up to antasyland. As the main reason I went to MK was to take Gabriel on Pooh before t closed for refurb. We got up there only to discover there was nolonger a FP and the wait was 30 min+. So maybe there would be no Pooh. :( We continued walking through FL and all the lines were atrocious. I wentaheadand FP Peter Pan. The return time wasn't until 7PM. We continued to circle around until we reached PotC. By this time Isabelle was beginning to complain about her feet. Her new flip flops were causing blisters.

I put Gabriel in his sling and we headed into PotC. The wait was longer than we'd ever seen, but it was cool, so we did it! The wait was about 25 min. Gabriel did fine on the ride. He didn't seem to notice much.

When w got off we headed right to Crystal Palace for our ressies. Gabriel in his stroller while I pushed, Matt packing Isabelle on his back. We told her right after we ate we would find her some new shoes on Main St.

Have I ever mentioned that I  CP? The afternoon food is SO yummy!!! I love the salad assortments and the salmon. Tiramisu was good too!!! The past couple of years we had gone to CP for breakfast, b/c when we went in 2007, with Levi, for lunch, Matt didn't seem to care for the food. This time he really liked it! So much that I believe that is when we will always go. He REALLY lked the prime rib. e talked to the family next to us and discovered that there were a lot of locals visiting.

It wasn't much longer until characters started coming out! Gabriel wasn't scared or excited by them. He was very much indifferent. LOL!

Subbing - Love it so far! I nursed Isabel loads of places too, looking forward to hear what your experience was with Gabriel!

Loving all the update, Alicia!!!:goodvibes

The pics of Isbelle and Gabriel are SO cute on the bus ride! Love how she was whispering to him about what he was going to see!!:cloud9:

The pics from CP are so cute, that's one place we haven't been to before. Sounds like I need to add it to my list!:thumbsup2

We finished up dinner withhelping a frantic mommy find her 3 yo son who had "followed" the parade out the front door. They were foreign and she was in coplete terror. I couldn't help but cry for her. We didn't have to look far, b/c daddy had already trekked out in search, he found his son halfway down Main St.

Which is where we headed next! We HAD to find Isabelle some shoes! We walked through the store, but didn't see any. I asked a CM, she said to try Fronteirland. So off we went, again, Isabelle being hauled along on Matt's back. And fightin the awful crowds along the way.

We scanned a stor in FrL with no luck, I asked another CM. He said the Splash Mt store had some!!! Sure enough, we found her a pair of fuschia Mickey crocs! Unwilling to fight our way back and out, we headed for the train. We had to carry the stroller up the stairs, but we made it and finally found a seat!!! I didn't get any pictures, b/c I both changed and fed Gabriel on the train to the front.

I thought I lost this post! That is SOOOO irritating!

OK... Arggg...just lost update...

We finished up at CP and headed to Main St to get Isabelle sone new shoes. I squeezed my way through the store, but couldn't find any. I asked a CM and she said to try Fronteirland.

We manuvered through the crowds, Isabelle, again, on Matt's back. Found a store, no shoes, again! :( Asked another CM, he said he thought he saw some at the Splash MT store. Weeaved some more, finally getting to the store and there they were!!!! Fuschia Mickey crocs! New shoes, check!!

We were SO ready to leave MK, the crowds were terrible! But there was NO way we were going to fight our way to the front. So we headed for the train. We had to carry the stroller up the stairs! Ugh! Wait in line... Finally we found a row to fit everything in. I didn't get any pictures  b/c I was busy changing and feeding Gabriel. While nursing on the train Matt and I discussed what to do.

We decided to monorail to Epcot!

We got to Epcot only to discover...YEP! CROWDS!!! It was, afterall, F&W on a Saturday! First stop was potties! I took these while waiting n Matt.

FW was way too busy and closing too soon anyway, so we headed into WS. On the way Isabellewas fascinated by the large softshell turtles swimming under the monorail track. Animals are her thing, what can I say?

We checked out the waterfall area of Canada, which was fairly quiet.

After, I tried to stop at UK to listen to band, but it was too loud for Isabelle. We walked over to France, stopped for a picture with photopass on the bridge. We made it a bit further. The night was so pretty...

...the crowds were NOT!!

I love the pictures :) Looks like you guys were having a great time
We were, but it was too crowded.
Subbing - Love it so far! I nursed Isabel loads of places too, looking forward to hear what your experience was with Gabriel!
I hopeI can remember them all Adi!
I love CP too!!! I really enjoyed your pictures!! Stinks it was so crowded at the park.
Really did stink!
Loving all the update, Alicia!!!:goodvibes

Yes! You must try CP....:cloud9:

I really want to do CP for a late lunch next time we go, you just helped make that decision for me :)

LOVE LOVE the pic of Isabella in front of the waterfall, so cute!

The crowd situation doesn't sound fun so I am crossing fingers it lightened up for you guys!!

Sorry I have been MIA, and not even first day done! LOL!!

So Epcot, on a Saturday night, during F&W brings DRUNK locals!!! We made it a bit past France, turned around and decided to head out. It ws just too much, too many people...

We decided to head out international gateway and walk over to the Boardwalk. I didn't get any pictures, really, but it was nice. Something I had always wanted to do. We walked all the way to Jellyrolls to check their times (Matt works nights, so we were tryingto keep options open if he couldn't sleep). We gazed out at the water, we watched a couple of Buskers, I stopped on a quite bench and fed Gabriel, then Matt ran into the brewery and grabbed him a beer and me a wine. The wine as way too dry for me, I sipped less than half and Matt finished it off.

We thought we might stick around for Illuminations from BW, but decided that fighting the crowd after, through Epcot, wouldn't be worth it, so we headed back the way we came. Exiting FW and heading to the busses just as Illuminations started.

We woke up Sunday morning, hoping things will have slowed down...

f course, Isabelle asks if we can go to AK, since we boght hoppers this year (so glad we did), we got ready and headed out.
