Wing and a Prayer for BOG ?? HELP !!

So we are going on a long weekend trip to WDW for my sisters 30th B day ! WHOOO here is the thing we are still well over our 180 days and I was told try to call for BOG at 190 days out . Is this a wing and a prayer ? We really want to eat there !! It would make the trip she is a HUGE B&B fan so this is a great trip for her ! Any suggestions ?? Should I just keep calling at 190 days or stalking the web site ? I was thinking of being up at midnight the 180 day mark ?? We are there Nov 7 - Nov 11 .. Thanks !!

I don't think it will do any good to call at 190 days out because it won't let you reserve until 180 days. Getting up at midnight will not help either. The online reservations open up at 6 a.m. EST and phone lines at 7. I was all worried about getting a reservation but I was able to get one for the day and time I wanted, despite the computer problems that caused some issues that morning. Just keep in mind, you will be able to eat quick service there for lunch, just in case dinner doesn't work out.

If you're staying in the park, you can make a reservation at 190 days. I would call that morning at 7:00am. You can look online at 6:00 am, but the 180 days +10 didn't work for me so I had to call. I called at exactly 7:00 am and had the CM look for BOG for each night of our trip. She found some times that were closer to 9:00 and kept looking through the week and found an earlier time. I am worried also tht I will have trouble getting an ADR since we will only be there from Nov 3-8 so for me I will have only 180 + 4 since we leave on the 8th. I am glad we were able to eat there last Nov since I really doubt I can get an ADR this trip

If you're staying in the park, you can make a reservation at 190 days.

The way the 180+10 works is that if you are staying at a Disney resort, at the date which is 180 days from your check-in date you can make all your restaurant reservations for up to 10 days after that. You can't start 190 days from the date you check in.

Being up at midnight won't help you. The online system rolls over at 6 AM Eastern and the phone system starts taking calls at 7 AM Eastern.

You might want to try the "old" online reservation system. It works alot better than the new one. You can try it out ahead of time just to see if you'd be comfortable with it - especially since it opens an hour earlier than the phone lines.

BTW - sometimes I have to take out the "underscore" between "en" & "GB" to get it to work. Once you get it to work for you, you might want to bookmark it and be ready to go at 0600 on the dot!

I called at 7am 180 days from our day of arrival in August and absolutely nothing was available for BOG our entire 10 days we are there. I kept checking back on the phone and online throughout the day and within a week I had a reservation. So my advice... if you are unable to get it right away, don't give up keep trying. Good luck.

I called exactly the 180 days before at 7 am and got the last BOG reservation for at 605 pm on a Sunday sept 29... I lucked out I think
