Two years ago we did the Eastern C on Magic. It was myself, wife and sister in law that drank wine (her husband was our designated driver). This year we are bringing the Mother and Father in law, both of which drink wine. One package was enough for the three of us last cruise, one will not be enough with the two new cruisers. Do they sell half packages or a larger package that the one that is $145. Otherwise we will have to buy two packages for $290, a bit much for just wine. Any suggestions.

Thanks Disers

I'm wondering the same thing. We had the wine package on the Magic last year (just DH&I managed to polish off a bottle a night- and I rarely drink wine!) This year there will be 5 of us on the Wonder and I would hate to get two packages. Too bad they don't calculate per person.

Considering that 2 people can easily consume a bottle with dinner (DH & I did as well on our recent cruise) you really are looking at 2 packages. Or adding additional bottle from the regular list at regular price as you go along.

A couple of years back we sailed with my parents. Their wine drinking tastes are different from ours. So we ordered what we wanted each evening and they ordered what they wanted. That wasn't a package situation although we generally ordered by the bottle and mom & dad by the glass as mom only drinks white or pink  and dad generally drinks red.

There are lots of options but personally if I knew those traveling with me were going to be drinking roughly a bottle per dinner I'd discuss the packages with them and suggest each couple "foot the bill" for one package.
