How do the wine pairings work? I know nothing, I mean absolutely nothing about wine. So if I go to Jiko's and do the wine pairings I don't want to end up spending tons of money for three glasses of wine. When they match a wine to each course do they select a reasonable price range (like $8 per glass)?
To tell you how inept I am when choosing wine, if I buy wine I limit myself to those with a screw cap lid so I don't have to mess with trying to get a cork out. My family no longer lets me select the wine for holiday meals because they're tired of my choices. I guess it's not a sign of a good wine when people grimace and their faces contort in an effort not to spit the wine out across the table!
