Wine on the way to port....

We are spending a few days in the port Canaveral area pre cruise and wanted to pick up some bottles of wine/good beer to bring with us, and enjoy that first night. Heard there was a total wine on the way, but searching Google maps. I can't find anything that isn't 20 min out of the way, what did I miss? There is an ABC closer, are they any good?

There is a Total Wine just off exit 191 from 95, that's south of the port in Viera

ABC stores have a pretty good selection - nothing like Total Wine of course but better than average for a liq' store IMO

There is an ABC on A1A, 6020 N. Atlantic Ave. Cape Canaveral

We are in the areanow. Publix in cocoa Beachhas a really good wine selection. On A1A near pier area, minutes fromport.

We always hit ABC for our pre cruise wine. Very convenient to most hotels in the area. I can't imagine how much more Total Wine has but ABC has a pretty good selection.

We've used the Publix mentioned above. Reasonable selection and prices.

Agree, Total Wine is huge!

I love total wine at home, for everything, liquor, beer or wine, and such great prices, so I was excited to hear Florida had them, ok I may have to take an extra trip out to one, maybe find dinner nearby....

Total Wine of Viera is very near Brevard Zoo with the associated zip line attraction

and in a shopping area called Avenues .. there's an outback and a longhorn, but if you are in the area you can drop back to beachside and consider Fat Snook ...... that's good eaten

Florida Beer Company is close to the port. They brew quite a bit, and have a tap room etc.

Unfortunately I really like dark, heavy, stouts, wich both Florida brewing and Disney are lacking

Orlando Brewing has some stouts, but I don't know if they are seasonal or not nor if they distribute.
