Has anyone ever been to the wine and food festival?? where is it?? is it in epcot??? does it cost $$$??? is any of it free????

I was just there Friday night....
Ok, yes it is in Epcot. No it is not free...
First you have to pay to get in the park, then you can go from country to country in world showcase and buy sample size portions of some of the more common foods from that country. You can also buy sample size glasses of wine and beer. The food is great and I am sure the beer and wines were too, but I am not much of a drinker so I skipped that part.
If you are on the DDP about 1/2 of the selections we noticed to be be a snack credit. Most things seemed to cost between $3.50-$6 at each booth. The smells as you walk past are amazing!!!

I just got home last night from a long weekend trip. DH and I have been adding up just what we spent on food & drinks at the Food & Wine Festival, not including anything we ate outside of the food & wine booths such as breakfast we're up to $305.00 for two days !! BUT we love it and are planning next years trip.

What kind of food did they have? We're planning a trip for next year but my father and myself are both pretty picky (sounds like we'll save $$ there anyway). My wife is very excited about it.
