Happy to report that the shirts are not all grayish. 5K is a pale pretty blue, 10K is a similar, but slightly greener, pale blue, and the half is definitely gray. Challenge is basically like it looks in the Instagram video—deep vivid blue violet

They let us in right at 8. Sadly, nothing to exciting for me for the race weekend merch. Huge missed opportunity for Muppets merch! The message shirts are cute but are printed on cheap 100% cotton unisex tees.

I liked that the crossbody Lug has card slots, but it is bigger/longer than the race weekend ones and the quilted stitching looks funny around the running Mickey logo, so I passed. I did pick up the new generic rD leggings, tech shirt and the zip jacket with yellow polka dots.

Also, they're holding everyone from the early groups at the gate just past the Arena. The line is back to the busses.

Normally we can walk up, grab something from Joffrey's or a food cart and wait at the expo building.

Yeah, this is annoying. Also because where I’m standing (just past the stanchions around the ESPN globe) I can hear the music from the arena and the music from the DJ and it’s combining into just NOISE

Edit: you’d think they’d want to make food money off us—I thought Disney’s whole philosophy was “people standing in line are people not spending money”

They opened the gate at 9:30. Beer cart open, had to wait 5ish minutes for Joffreys to open.

word on the socials is that there's a new beer cup for this weekend....still the clear glitter one, but with a W&D anniversary logo

I always get a pineapple cider, and then DH ends up drinking the 2nd half of it because I can never finish the whole thing.

started the weekend with a bus mishap - even though it clearly said buses to the expo were going to start at 9:30, we got to the stop and they clarified it was starting at 9:30 FROM espn. Which, what? Who needs a bus at 9:30 from espn?

Hopefully it’s the only bus mishap of the weekend
