Soon based on my Facebook on this day posts the past few weeksI wonder when they’re going to do a medal reveal? I was certain that they were going to be revealed last Thursday.

I agree with you. I could see if they released them if their field wasn't at capacity to encourage additional sign-ups. But with RunDisney races always selling out, there is not need for that. So, I think I'm definitely in the minority here, but I wish they wouldn't release the medals ahead of time. You end up being so much more critical of the medals ahead of time, it'd be nice to not have the extra baggage of scrutinizing it for months before finishing the race and getting it.
100% agree with this! Seems awfully redundant to just copy and paste the other medal designs onto the challenge one instead of making Chef Mickey the focal point. A lot is going on in just that one medal. I don't recall them doing this before?I wish the two course challenge was just the mickey part
Agreed. With the Muppets theme I really thought this medal was going to be very over the top.I am also meh on them. I'm only doing the 5K, and only because it is a Muppet, but I was really hoping for something a little more fun (or with additional characters).

Looks like cheese, an apple or orange and a whole fishRemy looks funny, but I am only doing the 5k and am fine with the Chef. Trying to figure out what is on the tray he is carrying. I would have liked some talking Muppet vegetables--this looks more Halloween?
Wow. Do they just lack creativity or is this type of design less costly?Another swing and a miss. Why do I feel that every RunDisney medal design session is essentially: “We gotta give the people what they want—tiny circles! The tinier the better. And make them spin.”

I think there are only so many design elements, and when you are designing 20+ medals each years (individual weekends + challenges), there is bound to be some similarities over the years.Wow. Do they just lack creativity or is this type of design less costly?
I think the fork & knife spin behind Tiana & Remy spins on those medalsI actually love the medals! I think they edited them down a bit with fewer moving parts from what I can tell. The challenge medal may be a spinner but the others look stagnant to me. I can't wait to earn them.
What did they do to poor Remy’s face?!
