Windsor hotels? need help.

[I wanna go back]

Our son is in a baseball tournament in Windsor on labour day weekend and we're looking for some hotel suggestions. We're told the tournament is at a park called Walker Homesite on Sydney Avenue.

Ideally, we'd like to find a decent, clean hotel in a nice part of town, with some restaurants nearby and no more than 10-15 minutes from the park. A pool would be nice, but not essential. Any suggestions?

the location is at Seymour Park, off of Walker Rd. (Hiram Walker to be exact). It's close to Devonshire Mall, the major mall of Windsor. Several fast food places on Howard Ave and some motels like Comfort Inn.
If you want a Holiday Inn, there is one on Huron Church Rd, close to the E.C Row Expwy, but I imagine that it's already booked up for Labour Day.
I usually try expedia.com to locate hotels in a specific area, then I go to that chain's website to book a room or so.

You can Stay right near the Airport. It's a five minute Drive to the Ball Park. I live right by the ball park and it's only blocks from everything. The Mall, eating places, costco, fast food, Canadian Tire. There is a Howard Johnson up there, a couple other hotels I am not sure if any of them have a pool or not. Pm me if you would like more info. I will gladly help.

Thanks very much for the help Tower & Nagy. We managed to book a few rooms for the team at the Holiday Inn Select. One of the other parents on the ball team had stayed there on business and also recommended it.

Now, can you do anything about the weather while we're there? Every weekend that we travel to a ball tournament it seems to rain!
